06.01.2022 AUDITION NOTICE - SHERBROOKE THEATRE COMPANY ARKFEST ENTRY 2020 Sherbrooke Theatre Company will be taking part in in ARKFEST in 2020, run by Ark Theatre Company. Performances will take place over the March Labour Day Weekend on 7th-8th March 2020 at Lilydale Heights College Performing Arts Centre 17 Nelson Rd, Lilydale. Up to 33 plays will be performed over the weekend in 5 heats, culminating at the Finals with presentations and awards for Best Script, Best Production, Peo...ple’s Choice Best Production, Best Director, Actor, Actress. There is also a prize for Best Promotional Marketing. A Bicycle Made for Two by Suzy Wilds Gladys, a cantankerous old woman confined to a wheel chair, reflects on her life and imminent death whilst waiting for her grand daughter’s visit in a nursing home. There is humour and even a song! Gladys:Late 70’s. Confined to wheel chair. Well dressed. Niggly and sharp tongued. Daisy:Nursing Aide any age. Positive, bubbly & Caring Stephanie:Gladys’ granddaughter. Early-late 30’s. Auditions:Wednesday 15th January at 7.30pm in Rowville. Sunday 19th January at 7.00pm in Rowville.
