25.01.2022 So after our beautiful warm start to October, I hosed down all the winter rugs, dried them, folded them, boxed them, put them away in the barn and celebrated 'No more rugging - Yay!' But my joy was short lived. On Sunday I got them all back out of their boxes and put them all back on the horses. So Fear not lovely agisters - despite us getting over 120mls of rain in 24 hours over Sunday - Monday, all your fur babies were warm, dry and safe.

14.01.2022 With two horses here with Cushings, two with Metabolic Syndrome and two with Navicular issues we are very careful in spring to keep educated about these conditions & watch for any symptoms. Like any 'retirement home' there are some conditions more likely in the elderly.

14.01.2022 So I didn't like looking out onto a boring stable wall, so I planted a bougainvillea. Two years later - that looks much better.
