25.01.2022 What a lovely day for our last Shibumi Fun Day of 2020.... not too hot, not cold at all and luckily the storm went around us....! We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the riders who came out and supported us today... Thank you to our amazing and invaluable volunteers, who stand all day helping us run a smooth, fun and safe day! To our judges who do an amazing job, encouraging and motivating all the riders! ... WE COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU ALL!! A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all our generous sponsors, in no particular order - Saddleworld Bowral, Rodney’s Photography, Kelato Animal Health and Nu Walla Contracting, Prydes EasiFeeds, Equestrian Lush, Harcourts Southernhighlands and Triskele Equine therapies. It really makes it so special to receive all sorts of goodies when you are in the placings! Our riders really appreciate and love it... To our FABULOUS catering crew who kept us fed and watered... from the bacon and egg rolls, to the chicken and beef burgers, sandwiches and the delicious cakes and cupcakes... 17.01.2022 Don’t miss out on a fantastic opportunity! We have a few spots still available for Rose Taylor’s Dressage Biomechanics Clinic Sunday the 13th and Monday the 14th of December ... Rose is an EA accredited coach with a passion for dressage and helping riders improve their body awareness, balance, alignment and control to be better athletes to allow their horses to perform at their best! Trained in Pilates and with a solid foundation and understanding in rider biomechanics, aided by Franklin Method balls and Performance Refinery posture slings - these techniques are fantastic tools to improve proprioception, stability and mobility. Each 60 minute session includes On/off horse postural assessment, Position correction with the use of Franklin Method balls/bands and Performance Refinery, Posture Slings, On/off horse muscle release and activation techniques The cost is $110 per person/hour and $30 per fence sitter for the day Limited spots available.... The Shibumi team/family would like to say a huge thank you to the Berrima Horse Trials committee for putting on yet another fantastic event... despite the rain we have had the footing was really good for all 3 phases.... the upgrades and additions to the cross country jumps were excellent and the new courses were heaps of fun to go around with new challenges which were marvellous.... thank you Craig Gordon... We know how much goes into organising and running an event and really appreciate the time and effort the BHT committee have put in! Thank you, thank you, thank you

05.01.2022 On Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic Dressage Biomechanics clinic with Rose Taylor. It was the most fascinating and interesting day... Rose has a wonderful way of sharing her passion of helping riders improve their body awareness, balance, alignment and control to be better athletes and to allow their horses to perform at their best... We all had some laughs when sitting on various Franklin Method balls and when strapped into the Performance Refinery posture s...lings.... Everyone took something away to work on and improve their riding....
