05.01.2022 Our Shine Seniors crew have been working very hard this year. Remote leaning hasn't been just restricted to the classroom; it's spilled over into every aspect of life. Because we haven't had the opportunity to perform together & create memories, I thought it would be nice just to hang out, have a little fun & have some photographic evidence that something great still happened in 2020. :-)

03.01.2022 This term our older students have managed to work on songs, even though we only caught up in person twice due to restrictions. Next term, we want to be able to work with ALL students, even if it means changing rehearsal times slightly to make it work and fit everyone in. If your child is interested in joining Shine Youth Choir in Term 3 (even if they have been unable to be involved due to the online learning process) please let me know ASAP, so I can sort out group numbers and rehearsal times. 03.01.2022 For the first time we were able to get our Shine Senior students together at my (currently unoccupied) house. While we've been working on songs at home separately and catching up via Zoom to work out parts etc, we haven't had a chance to work together at all this year.......until today. This is our first 'sing' out of isolation. Fantastic effort everyone

01.01.2022 So we're not catching up in person, but content is still being posted in our Group to keep all our Shine students in the loop, on the ball and with things to get their teeth stuck into. We have a goal to perform one of our songs as though it came from a stage musical - fully costumed. At our last rehearsal before Stage 3, we blocked the scene. Wow! Some fantastic acting from our senior students. Our juniors are working on their 'character'. this will help them 'perform' the song better on stage. Some examples from HPS 2017 Production of No Rhyme or Reason of what 'villagers' could be wearing.......
