22.01.2022 Our Library staff are excited because the new Treehouse book has arrived at our Shire libraries! Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton have added 13 new levels to their treehouse and now its even more out of this world!! They have a soap bubble blaster, a GRABINATOR, time-wasting level and a toilet paper factory!! What are you waiting for? Head on in to one of Shire libraries to request your copy today!

03.01.2022 It's NAIDOC Week, which runs from 8 to 15 November 2020, and it's a time to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. And our Manjimup Library is celebrating with a great new display showcasing First Nations stories, authors and filmmakers. This year's NAIDOC Week theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be' recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC Week 2020 ackn...owledges and celebrates that our nation’s story didn’t begin with documented European contact whether in 1770 or 1606 - with the arrival of the Dutch on the western coast of the Cape York Peninsula. The very first footprints on this continent were those belonging to First Nations peoples. #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe #NAIDOC2020

We're are getting ready to temporarily relocate the Pemberton Library, and this is great news for booklovers and bargain hunters as we have LOTS of items that we need to clear before the move!... With all items $1 - $2, this is great opportunity to stock up on your Summer reading before the Pemberton Library temporarily closes on 12 December.
