10.01.2022 ON A TRIAL WITH A FAMILY THIS WEEK .. FINGERS CROSSED IT WORKS OUT Assisted rehoming Please read carefully before applying It's with a sad heart - and for various, considered reasons - we are looking to re-home our dog.... He is a gorgeous Boston Terrier, who makes everyone smile, absolutely loves people and is a total lapdog. He is 6 years old, doesn't shed much, very well trained in his toileting, walks well on a lead, great in the car, doesn't mind a bath. His only down-side is that he really doesn't like other animals (thinks he's a person) so he couldn't go to a home with another pet. If your neighbours have dogs and he's left outside for too long he'll bark at them. He's great with kids, super patient, so he could go to a family as long as there is someone at home most of the time, but I think his ideal home would be with a retired person/couple. He's wonderful company, will follow you around the house and climb in your lap so he'd be great company for a older person/couple who could shower him with love & affection. He only need a leisurely 15-20 minute walk every day or other day. Alternatively, he could suit someone who works from home. I'll be returning to work full-time soon and it breaks my heart to think of him at home alone all day, every day. I'd rather he go to a new home where he'll have company and attention.
