22.01.2022 Feels a bit weird not standing in front of a grill on a Thursday night! Here's a pic of the last burger we made. Fittingly it was just a bigger version of the very first burger we made......

22.01.2022 Well where do I start guys? The amazing amount of you that came out over this last week. The people who have come religiously over the past 3.5 years. The people who make the crazy creations. The people who roll in so hungover and sometimes still wasted to stuff their face.... The people who've sent the most lovely messages of support. The people who reviewed us. The people who told other’s to come down and try our food. The people who have worked behind the counter to serve you. (I f'ing these guys) The family members who made sacrifices and gave so much support. (Massive ) Literally to every person who ever walked in the door (even the guy I had to toss back out) the shop wouldn't of been the same without you so thank you from the bottom of my heart. 17.01.2022 Loyal Shorty’s customers, Firstly can I just say this is the first time I’ve looked at this page since 2017 and I’m truly honoured to see over 2k of you are still following this page hoping for a rekindling of the greatness that was the Shorty’s experience! I started this business with my great mate Adam back in 2013 and instantly became completely invested in the local community that I’ve always called home. I shared your highs, your lows, and tried to get involved in as man...y things as possible. Lately I’ve been spending time plotting my next big quest. While it doesn’t involve delicious food it certainly involves our community. I’d like to announce that I’m stepping up as a candidate for Seawinds Ward in the upcoming council elections. 08.01.2022 So last night I put up a post about the hove rd general store. Why would I do this? Adam and Megan were founding partners of Shortys and helped make it the store you all loved! They also owned the very successful St. Paul’s rd general store until recently.... The food and service will be just what you would expect and the staff will of course be local legends! Give their page a like and go check them out when they open........ don’t be that person who still hasn’t been in 6 months. Any how sorry it’s not Shortys but it’s the closest thing you’re going to get so you may as well swing by. Jared

04.01.2022 Wow!!! Can't believe the effort some of you guys went to to track us down today. Definitely feeling the love ........ For those of you who didn't we'll let you in on a little secret. We've been dishing out some of our classic dogs and chilli fries at the junior footy for the last few years. This year is no different so if you are craving a dog you can find us at Olympic oval in rosebud most Sundays.... Seriously though thanks for tracking us down today it made my day
