25.01.2022 Good morning all, Hope you are all safe and well. Due to the latest stage 3 Covid 19 restrictions we will not be able to open up the dojo as we planned for Term 3. This is so disappointing as we have missed you all so much and were very excited to get back into training.. Going forward we are asking for an expression of interest to see who would be interested in continuing karate lessons in Term 3 via Zoom. Classes will be once a week e.g. Tigers and Juniors on Tues from... 5pm onwards and Elites and Seniors on Thurs 6.30pm onwards. If we do not get enough students in the one class we may have to combine classes. Fees would naturally be reduced accordingly. Also Sensei would like to offer additional specialised kata classes for those interested at an extra cost. Could you please let us know as soon as possible so we can make plans and ensure our students are not missing out on karate. Hopefully if we all do the right thing we can get back into the dojo by Term 4!

22.01.2022 . A kata is not fixed or immoveable. Like water, it’s ever changing and fits itself to the shape of the vessel containing it. However, kata are not some kind of beautiful competitive dance, but a grand martial art of self-defense which determines life and death. Kenwa Mabuni

20.01.2022 Once again, a big congratulations to those who were awarded term champions for term 1 and 3. After the children received their badge and certificate, they then had a moment to say a little speech! We are very proud of each and every single one of you who are training over zoom and at home. You guys are all champions! We hope you all stay safe over the week break and we can’t wait to see you all in term 4! (Via. Zoom)

19.01.2022 Good morning all! We hope you are all well and looking after yourselves. As restrictions are easing we are hoping to be back at karate for Term 3. Things will be different but we will still be able to continue classes with precautions. I'm requesting confirmation from students to confirm how many will be returning as there will be restrictions with how many students we can have in each class.. Could you please reply as soon as possible whether you/your child will be returning to karate in Term 3, Tues 14th July. Missing you all. Thanks. Sensei and Cat .

08.01.2022 A blast from the past!!

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Addison (Tigers) on the birth of her baby sister Morgan Rose. Mum and bubs are doing well. So adorable! Congratulations to all !

06.01.2022 To our new Cubs parents, please ensure your child is wearing comfy clothes to train in, eg. shorts and a t-shirt. They must have water bottles as we are not allowed to use the schools water taps or refill bottles due to COVID restrictions. Parents will be allowed to watch for the trial class. Masks will be required. Please note parents will no longer be allowed to enter the dojo after the trial class but can choose to watch from outside. This goes for all parents in all classes. Hopefully these restrictions will be lifted in due course. Enjoy your Sunday!

04.01.2022 What a year it has been! We all did it! Our strength and resilience got us through it! Thank you all for your love and support. Wishing you a happy and safe holiday season. Be safe, spend quality time with those you love, put your mobile phones away and be present! And as always, don’t forget to keep up your training! See you all back in the dojo in February 2021.

03.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that Sensei’s dad passed away last night after a long battle with dementia. May he rest in peace and may God give us strength during this difficult time.

02.01.2022 Our senior Sempai’s have been helping our junior black belts and 1st kyus on strengthening and improving their teaching techniques. During tonight’s class, the junior black belts all had a turn of teaching their knowledge and skills to their peers. We are very proud of them all and to be able to be put on the spot and come up with something to teach the class takes a lot of confidence! Thank you all for training so hard and for putting all of your efforts into the zoom class...es! Below is just a little video of what the junior Sempai’s taught tonight.

02.01.2022 Our first week of Zoom lessons were very successful. So great to see so many of you again!
