18.01.2022 An emotional farewell from Srirama Srinivasan , PremaSrinvasan & Family in Adelaide after two wonderful exciting shows. Srirama who saw our Sri Thyagarajar in D...ubai took initiative to bring us for Thyagaraja aradhanai as a part of Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Shruthi, a popular cultural organisaion. He also coordinated with Adelaide Tamil Sangam for staging of comedy hit Plastic Kadavul. And his daughter Shradha and son Sreyas performed in our plays too. Sri Thyagarajar made rasikas emotional and received nonstop standing ovation. Honourable Ms. Jinglee, Minister for Culture, appreciated our efforts in carrying a musical genius of India's contribution to the western world. Plastic Kadavul drew continuous laughter and standing ovation for its purposeful comedy . we understand from organisers that we are the first tamil theatre troupe from India to stage plays in Adelaide. We are overwhelmed. Yesterday was Tour around Adelaide starting from world famous Adelaide Oval grounds, witnessing the legend Brodman's exhibits, free ride in the trams and enjoyed mexican veg food Mr Rai, President of Shruthi honoured us with a dinner. Kabi Mani son of our close family friend Mani is a practicing Physiotherapist here in Adelaide. In fact I attended his wedding years back in Chennai. It was agreat pleasure meeting him abd he hosted a farewell lunch today. While Ashok took us on a tour of Adelaide Jamalesh hosted four of our troupe members at his home. Great organisers very friendly and woderful hospitality. Leaving right now for Sydney for Sri Thyagarajar show on 1st March 2020 for Pallavi which also celebrates Silver jubilee. Yes its a silver jubilee tour We just celebrated Silver Jibilee of our UV , flying abroad for staging our dramas for two Silver Jubileeins Shruthi in Adelaide and Pallavi in Sydney Tour's grand finale is at Melbourne on 7th March for In concert Music. Our hearty thanks to organisers Srirama and Rai of Shruthi, Hema and Uma of Tamil Sangam, Pallavi Ramanath, Mohan and VVRamesh of Sydney and Mr Sridhar Chari for working 24x7 to get this happen We owe our thanks to Loal talents of Adelaide, Srini of Sydney Natagapriya and Maniskanthan of Melbourne Talkies for their talent support. 13.01.2022 Post 18: Vithyavathi Karthigesu is the founder, Principal, and Dance Teacher of the Temple of Fine Arts - Adelaide which was established in 2012. Originally from Malaysia, Vithya is an accomplished Barathanatyam and Odissi Dancer. She has performed widely with the Temple of Fine Arts International in Malaysia, Singapore, and India and she has also performed in many local events such as OzAsia and Fringe. Every year the Temple of Fine Arts Adelaide has its in-house event, sho...wcasing all the students in various Indian classical and Semi-classical dances. Vithya supports by presenting a part of the Shankarabaranam Pallavi which is in an Odissi Classical Dance form, focusing on the Chouka and Thribhangi.
