21.01.2022 This is why we do what we do. Thankyou for your feedback Ron. Sent in by Ron Turner... Our first motorhome had a ShuRoo fitted when we bought it second hand in 2008. We bought that vehicle in Wodonga and headed home to Townsville up the centre via Goondiwindi. Around 5.00 a.m. on the morning of departure from Goondiwindi I commented to my wife that there should be roos everywhere here, but we had seen very few on the trip to date. The ShuRoo had been on for the entire trip. I turned the ShuRoo off around daylight, but after about twenty minutes and several near misses with roos, I turned it on again. I’m convinced that it works on roos. We have had two more RV’s since and all have had a ShuRoo installed immediately. We travel long distances at night, often overnight and I must say in this time we have not even had a reason to brake for a roo. In June 2019, we were travelling back from Longreach to Townsville and came across a large herd of cattle being driven along the road. All vehicles except ourselves were stopped by the cattle. My ShuRoo was on when we encountered the herd and they amazingly just cleared away from us as we idled through. It was clearly evident that the ShuRoo was working on cattle, but I had to turn it off to convince myself. While it was off, we were stopped. At Tamworth in January 2017, we were staying at a caravan park on the river bank. First night there the sky went black with flying foxes just before dusk. Curious, I angled my ShuRoo up at them and turned it on. They separated around us like there was a mountain there. I did this several times. Same result every time. Thank you ShuRoo for a great product.
