13.05.2022 Live on Monday afternoon with Coreena I have no idea why, however to sing our praises is something that in the past I haven’t done so well, not to mention that I’m still getting used to going ‘live’ on Facebook too. What I aim for here is to share a selection of the wonderful feedback and comments we’ve received from some of our guests - local Tasmanians and visitors to Tasmania from all over Australia and around the world. ... All this is what tells us that we must be doing something right for a little over 10 years now. Treat yourself to a VIP* Experience with Shutterbug Walkabouts in Tasmania where we always strive to deliver exceptional Experiences for anyone who joins us, be it for photography tuition or instruction, a photo-oriented tour or an extended retreat of any kind. * VIP = Very Important Photographer (and of course Person) Who for? Beginner to intermediate nature photo-enthusiast, and advanced photo-enthusiasts with an active learning and discovery mindset. PLUS, our private photo-oriented tours are ideal for outdoorsy non-photographers who enjoy sharing enriching experiences with their photo-enthusiast travel companion/s. #seeaustralia #tasmania #discovertasmania #stallards #hobartandbeyond #tasmanianphotography #photographytours

25.01.2022 The first time I visited #FlindersIsland (with my friend Susie from Tasmanian Odyssey) I had the pleasure of spending time with 3 incredibly adorable baby wombats (rescued orphans). I’d already fallen in love with Flinders Island for it’s truly spectacular landscapes and natural environment, though this experience was truly special. If I wasn’t already obsessed with wombats before this, it would have been the moment I became so. I have visited Flinders Island a few more time...s since then, and I’m super excited to be hosting our inaugural Deluxe Women-only Photography Escape in November. ~Coreena~ ~~~~~~~~~~~ Are you a female photo-enthusiast in need of 5 days indulgent days of photography, relaxation and rejuvenation? 17.01.2022 5 awards for Coreena ... 2 Silver & 3 Bronze in Better Photography Magazine Photo of the Year 2020 ... My photo of a Royal Spoonbill was awarded Silver with a score of 84.33% with this feedback from the judges... "Great Impact! A Silver Award (or higher) means you have ticked most of the boxes. Your technical skills and aesthetic approach are of a very high standard and we don't think it's appropriate to suggest improvements to this image - except to say, well done and in this case, we really liked the power and impact your image has!" Well that certainly makes me smile ~Coreena~ . . . Coreena Vieth - Shutterbug Walkabouts Royal Spoonbill Tamar Wetlands, Launceston

15.01.2022 Our road trip over the weekend took us to Bicheno. It was mainly a getaway for us, though we also met up with Jewels for a ‘Master Your Camera’ Tutorial to help her navigate the modes, settings, buttons and dials on her Nikon D3300 with more confidence. The Pondering Frog was a very convenient place for us to meet up. and of course we just had to have an ice cream before we left. #greateasterndrive #tasmania #eastcoastshines #eastcoasttasmania

10.01.2022 At Cape Pillar I sat, on the edge of the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere, overlooking Tasman Island and The Blade. I arrived on location at first light after a 1.5 hour walk in darkness, from Munro Hut. Mother Nature staged a magificent show for me. On this morning, she showcased Tasmania's stunning and changeable scenes with rain clouds, sunbeams and rainbows moving in from the horizon in front of me. Talk about rejuvenating and invigorating. When you're compl...etely immersed in your surroundings, there's so much to see and enjoy. 08.01.2022 Welcomed into Denman's Cove by two White-bellied Sea Eagles soaring overhead, I immediately left the world behind to start my 48km/4-day hike on the #ThreeCapesTrack. I thought for a moment that having my 100-400mm lens with me at this very moment would have been handy, although I'd already accepted my decision leave leave it home in favour of less weight in my backpack Now that was a big and ever-changing decision to make - camera gear vs food vs clothing? 08.01.2022 C'mon Canberra folks - pack your bags and your camera... it's almost time to #comedownforair and #Makeyourselfathome in #tasmania We are ready and waiting to welcome you back ... so who's coming?

05.01.2022 A stroll around Hobart and into St David's Park - one of our favourite spaces to wander through. It's also Tasmania's oldest graveyard dating back to 1804 where burials took place through to the 1870's. It wasn't until many years later that the cemetery was redeveloped into the park it is today, and the gravestones placed on the walls. On a personal note, St David's Park is where Coreena's ancestors Thomas and Anne Lucas were buried in 1815 and 1832 respectively. They arrived in the settlement from Norfolk Island in 1808 settling on a land grant of 536 acres in Browns River (now Kingston).

01.01.2022 Photographing wildlife can be rather challenging... especially when you are trying to take photos of two very playful and adorable orphaned wombats. Sometimes you just need to pause and enjoy the moment. Moments like this makes Coreena very happy indeed. Outdoors with her camera - even more-so spending time in the company of a wombat or two! What's your happy place?
