22.01.2022 Be alert, be smart and stay safe today.

22.01.2022 Looks like some sort of active shooter situation in QLD. If your ever caught up in one of these remember to assess, plan and act. Where is the danger? Is there more than one threat. Know the difference between cover and concealment. Move from cover to cover away from the threat. Pick the piece of cover you will move too before leaving the current cover. Know first aid and have the equipment handy to apply it. Help others who can’t help themselves.

21.01.2022 Whilst Remembrance Day has passed, its important to pause a little everyday to remember those who gave and those who still do today.

20.01.2022 Having spare batteries for your radio means if you lose power during a bushfire you won’t be totally cut off so why risk it? Stay informed. #bebushfireready #5minbushfireplan #firefiregoaway

19.01.2022 Day 3 of 4 in our heatwave down here in Adelaide. It’s days like these where the sheepdogs in society need to keep that extra eye out for those around us. Make sure our elderly and young are okay, and keep those pets cool too. Stay safe and stay cool.

18.01.2022 Great article on developing situational awareness. Goes with some of our discussion and the PPM training we went over tonight. Short read and will give you some... excellent tools to develop your SA as well as that of your family. Several great books quoted in the article including DeBecker's Gift of Fear and Van Horne's Left of Bang (my personal favorite). Recommend everyone read this article and think on it a bit before our next class. Don't let the title fool you, its suitable for everyone. 16.01.2022 Preparing your emergency kit and keeping it in a handy place means you’re ready to go if needed when a bushfire hits so why risk it? Prepare now. #bebushfireready #5minbushfireplan #firefiregoaway

15.01.2022 Some great but awful news. A bunch of absolute dirt bags have been caught taking advantage of children. That’s great. What’s awful is that this stuff happens, and that it happens actively. This is a timely reminder with many families adapting to working from home and with the introduction of online learning for children of all ages. It’s vital to be aware of what children and teenagers are up to online.... Child exploitation is abhorrent and utterly disgusting, but it exists and there are evil people out there. These evil people hunt the vulnerable. As parents, brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles , grandparents, and all guardians it’s ultimately up to us to ensure our loved ones are kept safe. Be a Sentinel.

15.01.2022 RAA on locked and unlocked car doors. Bottom line: So, whether your doors are locked or unlocked is irrelevant, as emergency personnel are skilled to enter the vehicle one way or another.

14.01.2022 This is just just about firearms. Train to develop the mindset and physical skills to protect yourself and those around you.

13.01.2022 Some gave all. All gave some. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them.... Lest we forget.

13.01.2022 A strange morning this morning as our instructors stood in their respective driveways for our own individual services. It was great to see so many out on the street to show their respect, and take a few moments to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice that so many have made. To those who have served, are serving or are about to embark on that journey - Australia thanks you.... Lest We Forget.

12.01.2022 Thoughts are with the families of these two heroes.

06.01.2022 Great advice as always from one of our good mates

05.01.2022 If you could only learn one thing in order to be better prepared to defend yourself and your loved ones it’s situational awareness. Have a listen to the video below for some more insight in to this. To learn how too systematically and ultimately naturally apply this to your everyday life come along to our next Adelaide PPM level 1 course in April.

02.01.2022 Evening everyone, It’s with great sadness we’ve had to cancel our upcoming Level 1 course in April. Due to the uncertainty of what will be happening in the near and mid future, we will not be setting any concrete dates for our next courses as yet.... From everyone at Sentinel International Australia, we hope you’re keeping safe and healthy, and most importantly, following the directions of health professionals. In the mean time, keep aware, assess plan and act, and looking out for those around you. SI Australia
