17.01.2022 Occasional use is ok, but you should never continually use eye drops that reduce redness. The drops reduce blood flow into the eye and long term use can cause rebound redness as your eyes blood vessels dilate as the medication wears off, making the eye red (creating a cycle of dependance). Try a saline or lubricating eye drop to break the cycle or see your optometrist or doctor to make sure you haven’t done any long term damage.
