17.01.2022 Where did you spend your weekend with the glorious weather? On Friday we popped into Sidewood Estate to check out their new cellar door. We were big fans of th...eir home alongside Maximilians restaurant so were keen to check out their new spot - it didnt disappoint! For the Bambinos there are swings, logs to climb on, stepping stones to jump between, plus there are high chairs & a baby change table. There is also a bowls, bocce & games area surrounded by private booths you can reserve. Of course, all this is along with amazing wines, cider & food. We opted for a cider flight - the pineapple apple cider was our winner! See more

09.01.2022 The Sidewood Mappinga Shiraz, our most iconic red wine. Meticulously handcrafted using the best parcels of shiraz from three of our Adelaide Hills estate vineyards. The Mappinga Vineyard, Oakbank One of the coldest vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, revealing powerhouse fruit with characteristics of plum, dark chocolate & white pepper. The Ironstone Vineyard, Echunga Warmer climate, revealing slightly juicier fruit, leathery tannins & excellent natural acidity.... The Winery Vineyard, Nairne Dry grown, organic (in conversion) resulting in a beautifully concentrated flavour, dominated by violets and spice. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us through the ups and downs of what was an unpredictable year. 2020 saw the opening of our Hahndorf Cellar Door & Restaurant, an exciting new chapter for Sidewood.
