21.01.2022 Eight of our Year 8 students competed in the Sunshine Coast Rocket League Championships eSports competition as part of The FUSE Cup at Caloundra City Private School last week. The boys showed wonderful team spirit and supported each other throughout a very competitive day. Lily competed in the 16-19yrs Sunshine Coast School Sport team, whilst Baylee and Brydie were in the 13-15yrs team. Lily is on fire this year, smashing some of her netball goals! 13.01.2022 This morning our Year 11 Religion and Ethics students reciprocated a peer-led feedback opportunity with Mrs Coleman’s Year 1 class from Siena Primary. Previously, the Year 1s provided an authentic audience for our Year 11’s Sacred Stories Project and today our ‘big kids’ were able to be involved in sharing their ‘two stars and a wish’ for the Primary students’ writing. Our 7s meet up with their Year 12 buddies during the day who helped them with their lockers and orientated them around the college campus. 10.01.2022 AHEP and SHEP Congratulations and best wishes to the following students who have been selected to represent our school at the Australian Honours Ensemble Program (AHEP) and State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) at the QLD Conservatorium Griffith University during the school holidays. Students are selected from thousands of national and state nominations based on their musical ability and ensemble experience and come together for a series of intensive workshops, masterclasses and rehearsals with leading industry professional. 10.01.2022 The last Year 10 Cooloola Wilderness Camp groups departed this morning for their adventure. The weather has been a blessing so far with spectacular days to soak up the beautiful surroundings. On board with this second group is a couple of esky's full of muffins and ham and chicken salad rolls for the first groups as they make their way back home. 09.01.2022 Year 11 student Seth Burrows was a member of the Sunshine Coast School Sport Boys Waterpolo team at the State Championships recently and the team came away with a Bronze medal. Seth had an awesome tournament and received the teams Players Player Award which is a wonderful achievement. We have just received notification that Seth has just been announced in the Queensland School Sport (QSS) 13-17 years Water Polo Merit Team. Well done.

09.01.2022 Teresa Feast Day | Teresa received a number of honours, including the 1962 Ramon Magsaysay Peace Prize and 1979 Nobel Peace Prize. She was canonised (recognised by the church as a saint) on 4 September 2016, and the anniversary of her death (5 September) is her feast day. #sienacc2020
