25.01.2022 Day 4. I was nominated by Nada Kesic, a wonderful artist and poet for the 7 Day Artist Challenge, to post one item of my work for each of the 7 days at the same time nominating another artist to do the same. Today I nominate Evelyn Dunstan Glass - a wonderful person and artist specialising in the most amazing cast pieces.. I made the following on a course I took with her.



23.01.2022 Finished grinding. May have gone a bit far. Now to polish fire. Can make a few minor amendments with powders.

22.01.2022 Day 6. Today I nominate Fusio Studio / Richard M Parrish an accomplished artists, teacher and innovator. His lessons on kiln casting has helped me develop the technique used in this piece.

18.01.2022 Day 2. Today I nominate Christine Hingston a fabulous artist and sculptor and friend. My piece is one of the first pieces I made at a course with Narcissus Quagliata in 2010. It still sits in my studio as inspiration.

15.01.2022 More grinding. This time indigo dyed glass. I like the way the indigo bleeds into the white.

Today I nominate Neil Elliott a friend and amazing sculptor. Today my piece is a sculpture called Detritivore after the white ants that carved the original wood.

Today I nominate Alessia Nawell my niece a wonderful artist specialising in illustrations Alessianawell.co.uk. My piece is a portrait of my parents made by grinding fused glass.

Today I nominate Carolyn Francis who makes beautiful fantasy metal art. She made the metal for the piece I'm presenting today.

Today I nominate Kjerstin Bjelland of Handwoven by Kjerstin who makes wonderful woven pieces. This piece is called Twill and was inspired by piece of her weaving.
