21.01.2022 To all my beautiful Silhouette University members I wanted to extend a huge thank you for all your support in 2019. I have taught some incredible classes in various parts of the country, had my first retreat (thank you Rose) and met so many incredible people. If you celebrate, I wish you a Merry Christmas. If you don't, I wish you a lovely break and time with family. Looking forward to an amazing year teaching you all new things on your amazing machines. 10.01.2022 Tomorrow night (3rd May 2020) at 7pm the people over at Craft Kits are launching their next Sampler Box. This month it is adhesive vinyl and is called Mythical Magic. It promises to be beautiful. For those who have not heard of Craft Kits, they are an online business who makes themed monthly Sampler Boxes to enable crafters to try the various vinyls & HTV's on the market. Only top branded products are used, and various finishes are supplied in a box. This allows you to try Si...ser vs Thermoflex, Metamark vs Siser Vinyl, glitter HTV, flock, opals and the list goes on. Every Sampler Box will contain one exclusive patterned HTV or vinyl and a hots of vinyls or HTV which coordinate. Cut files are also included. Craft Kits also creates a photo album with samples made with the contents of the box. They are Australian based and shipping is prompt after the pre-orders (which runs for 2 weeks) closes. 03.01.2022 Silhouette University Australia will be in Sydney the 6th-8th December and there are 3 amazing classes on offer at 2 different locations. On Friday the 6th of December from 4pm-7.30pm I will be running the Beginners Class again at Scrapbook Sensations in Narellan. This class covers all aspects of your Silhouette machine, mat & blade care & maintenance as well as a thorough walkthrough of Silhouette Studio. The cost of the class is $40.00. There are only 12 spots so ring Trace...y or Sam on (02) 4647 3982 to book. For this class you will only need your laptop, only bring your cutting machine if there are cutting issues you need my help with. On Saturday the 7th of December from 9am I will be teaching you all to make a stunning 3D Nutcracker on your Silhouette Cameo, at Scrapbook Sensations. The cost of the class covers all materials and you will leave with a gorgeous decoration for your Christmas table or mantle. During the class you will learn how to cut multiple material types in one pass on the mat as well as how to do proper test cuts of new materials. The cost of this class is $95.00 and I think it is almost full so ring Scrapbook Sensations to book in or to be put on the waiting list. Please note you will need both a laptop and a Cameo for this class. Lastly, on Sunday the 8th of December I will be heading over to the Scrapbook Superstore in Penrith to teach a slightly longer Beginners Class. This class covers all aspects of your Silhouette machine, mat & blade care & maintenance as well as a thorough walkthrough of Silhouette Studio. In addition to this, I will also be covering an introduction into vinyl & heat transfer vinyl, transfer tapes and application methods with some heat press/ironing tips included.
