25.01.2022 What to expect when expecting lip fillers? We're here to answer your most commonly asked questions. How can I prepare for my appointment? Plan ahead! We recommend avoiding blood thinners a week prior to your treatment, this includes painkillers, fish oil and Vitamin E to avoid bruising. Speak to your injector at your consultation if you do have a history of cold sores. What results can I expect? ... During your consultation your experienced injector will discuss technique and what results you are looking for, lip filler isn't all about volume, you can achieve symmetry, balance, shape and hydration. What are Lip Fillers? Lip Fillers are smooth injectable gels, made from a substance (which naturally occurs in our skin) called Hyaluronic Acid (HA)when placed beneath the skins surface can restore volume, support and hydrate. How soon will I see results? The effects of Lip Fillers are seen immediately and will settle within 2 weeks. You may experience some bruising or swelling post treatment, which will go down in a few days. We offer free review appointments to ensure you are happy with your results.
