20.01.2022 SILVER K GALLERY PRESENTS The Art Of Walt Disney The World Famous Disney Ink and Paint Department... The Walt Disney Studios World Famous Disney Ink and Paint Department has changed very little since the 1950s. The Ink and Paint department was responsible for inking and painting all animated shorts and feature films up to the mid-1980s. For a brief period in the 1990s, it carried on the Disney tradition by focusing on the creation of limited edition animation cel art. Each cel was produced just the way it was over 50 years ago. Silver K Gallery is delighted to present a very rare collection of eight hand-painted cels, and three sericels all created at this famous Disney ink and paint department. Peter Pan Fantasia Sleeping Beauty Pocahontas The Hunchback of Notre Dame and more. These artworks are all created from the original drawings used in the feature film. Every cel comes with a certificate detailing the exact sequence and scene in the film. Sharing a Dream The last image attached to this post was one of the most popular artworks ever produced featuring Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse.
