25.01.2022 Felicity Boyd // Dancer and Artistic Associate // Felicity is a contemporary dance artist who in 2018 spent 3 months touring Europe as part of Swedish youth company ilYoung, performing ‘Q&A’ by Rachel Erdos. She later worked with artists from Batsheva Dance Company, Hofesh Schecter Dance Company, Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, Marina Mascarell, Damien Jalet, Sascha Waltz & Guests and Wim Vandekeybus of Ultima Vez. Since returning to Adelaide in 2019 she has performed in Jess...ie McKinlay’s ‘A Supposed Truth’ and co-founded Motus Collective in partnership with The Mill. She was selected for Leigh Warren and Dancer's inaugural Young Artist Program and the recipient of an Ian Potter Cultural Trust grant. In 2018 she worked as a replacement dancer on Garry Stewart’s ‘South’ with Australian Dance Theatre and toured performing with Lewis Major Projects on ‘Losers’. Felicity graduated from the Adelaide College of the Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Arts (Dance) in 2017. See more

22.01.2022 Tina Ebenreuter // Dancer / Artistic Associate // Tina began her training at the age of 3 at Aldgate Dance, learning ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz and musical theatre. She performed and choreographed in annual concerts with the school and participated in the Hills Magazine spring Launch 2011. Tina has completed the VET course Company of Muses: life on stage performing in the 2012 Fringe with The Life and Death of Almost Everybody. In 2013 she completed Work Place Pra...ctices: Dance. In 2015 she auditioned and was accepted into the Bachelor of Creative Arts: Dance at TAFE SA and Flinders University. Throughout her time at AC Arts she has been part of the production and performance of many shows including Dissolution (Tobiah Booth-Remmers), Not about You (Israel Aloni), It Does Matter (Lee Brummer) and many more. Tina Created many short pieces throughout her time at AC Arts, exploring ideas such as Multiple Personality Disorder, Transgender and the Seasons. Her most recent work Baktak was performed in the Fringe Festival 2017. This was a physical theatre piece about monsters under the bed. Tina has done secondments with Australian Dance Theatre, Lina Limosani, Tobiah Booth-Remmers and Legs on the Wall where she performed in Highly Sprung. Outside of AC Arts she has performed and choreographed for the Tour Down Under. During the 2016 Oz Asia festival she performed in Sk!n for Terry and the Cuz and participated in the Fringe Parade for 2016 and 2017. Tina creates works that explore various topics. She takes on a holistic approach and is influenced by ecological cycles and weather systems, creating works inspired around "Winter" and "Spring". She is passionate about "messy" dance and how different mediums influence her movement. She uses interdisciplinary methods to create movement, this became a feature in how she created her work "Baktak" Tina is currently working on exploring dance on film and is finding new and interesting ways to create new works.

This remix by Mark Moore (S'Express) and William Orbit called Banji Realness samples moments from Paris Is Burning, a documentary about the New York ballroom scene directed by Jennie Livingston. This supported shoulder lift is part of a contact improv exercise we've been developing where the dancers explore experiential aspects about the practice-based style like touch, body contact, shared weight, counter balance and movement awareness with each other.
