23.01.2022 Dear Families, We have entered into a 5 day lockdown until 6pm Friday. Silverwood child care will be open for children to attend for essential workers. When you are in the service, you will be required to wear a mask and maintain physical distance of 1.5m. Parents will only be able to access our foyer for pick up and drop off and temperature checks will be implemented. ... Please do not bring your child in if they are unwell or if you are waiting for the results of a COVID test. Thank you for your understanding at the time. Silverwood child care educators.

15.01.2022 Silverwood Superstar! Today we would like to introduce you to our Centre's Worl Room Educator: Dee Fun Fact: Dee likes to read dictionaries and encyclopedia to broaden her knowledge. She describes herself as a daredevil and the recent indoor skydiving is the testament to her adrenaline rush. For her, her family and children come first (the 2 boys always striking up very interesting conversations!), and while this is just one part of her Middle Eastern culture that she is prou...d of, she also enjoys the food of her culture. She loves baking and creating art piece with her cakes. You can meet Dee during the week in the Worl (3-5) Room where she will be engaging children in hands on experiences and supporting the Silverwood Staff with her brilliant IT skills!

13.01.2022 Silverwood children and Educators have had a great time celebrating Chinese New Year recently with cooking, art and Lion Dance happening in the room. Here's a local event that you can attend with your family!

13.01.2022 Silverwood Superstar! Today we would like to introduce you to our Centre's Worl Room Educator: Ameera Fun Fact: Ameera moved from South Africa when she was 2 years old and has been an Aussie ever since! She and her son are big foodies and are willing to try anything (well almost anything) especially seafood. She got into the Early Childhood sector when she was 17 and since then she has been an Educator at Noranda CC and then Salisbury CC before making Silverwood her permanent... home. You can meet Ameera during the week in the Worl (3-5) Room where her jubilant singing and sense of humour will be entertaining Educators and children of all ages!

01.01.2022 Happy Feet was a bit different today. We had Miss Liza for the first time and are making her feel welcome to our Silverwood Wednesday routine. Staff and children will remember Miss Mon and wish her the best for the future. We hope to see her again one day and show off all our Happy Feet moves!
