10.01.2022 To our loyal Simeon's customers, thank you for your support over the last 6 months during these difficult "Covid" times. Your patience and the trust you have bestowed upon us has been truly wonderful and very much appreciated. Sadly though, there are a few select people who have chosen to make our lives more difficult than it is already. This is a Pandemic and we are in crazy, unprecedented times. Some people are coming to our door expecting to be allowed in so that they can ...see our full range. When they are told they can't enter but that we are happy to tell them what we have they get abusive and storm off. This is totally unreasonable and upsetting for us and our staff. We should not have to cop this abuse. Simeon is going to market and wholesalers now at least 4 times a week so that he can get access to the best quality flowers and the volume that we need. We are working our butt off to look after every customer. Yes there are some flower shops who are selling bags of oranges just so that they can bypass the law and let their customers in but we are not prepared to put ourselves, our staff or our customers at risk. We are simply following the rules. Please trust us and order online or over the phone. We will still put 100% in to your order and you can choose to do click and collect or delivery. 09.01.2022 A message to our dear Customers We would like to apologise to all those who tried to support us on Rosh Hashana but unfortunately had to be turned away. This year has has been a year like no other and in the 26 years that we have been in business we have never had to turn off our phones or our website nor have we ever had to stop serving customers. We all worked very long hours leading up to Yomtov and even with extra staff we exceeded our maximum capacity, we physically coul...d not do anymore. On Thursday we had to make the difficult decision to not accept any more orders as we knew that we just wouldn't manage and we wanted to make sure that the orders we already had were not jeapodised. We tried to open up the phones and website again on Friday morning but was inundated again so we had no choice but to turn them them off again after only one hour. At one stage on Friday afternoon we had our normal drivers plus 3 of our sons, Simeon and even myself, doing deliveries just to make sure they were delivered before Yomtov came in. We feel incredibly guilty that we had to do what we did, but we had no alternative. Even with Simeon buying extra flowers on the Friday morning we just knew that we weren't going to have enough to fulfil our remaining orders as well as take more. If you prefer to pick up the flowers you can give us your suitable time and we will either bring them to your car or hand them to you at the door. You will not be able to come into the shop to browse. We will be more than happy to discuss availability and selection of flowers over the phone. We are practicing safe and sanitary procedures in the handling and delivery of our flowers.
