24.01.2022 So very true right now here in Victoria. A professor brought balloons to a school. One was given to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway.... The professors then mixed all the balloons. The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point the professors told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes everyone had their own balloon. The professors said to the students: These ballons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. 21.01.2022 $10,000,000 00 of tax payer money down the drain... My first question is why the hell are we spending $10,000,000.00 of tax payer money to design a logo, a logo for god sake!! The government couldn't find a better use for 10 million dollars? And why did some of Australias riches people get the gig to design the logo?... Our country is and has been suffering for a long time, why are we wasting money on projects like this? Here is a few options of where the money would be better spent: PTSI (PTSD) services for Australias men and women on the front line. Improving our education system and access for all Australians. Before following this advice you should really consider the fact that the government won’t be there to help you jump start your car if your battery goes flat or lend you the tools you may need to fix something in your home. They won’t be an extra set of eyes to watch your property when you’re away from it. ... They won’t keep an eye on your kids if they are playing in the street and someone strange is hanging around! We need each other more than ever right now because at the end of the day they won’t be standing on your door step to help you out when the going gets tough. Asking you to report people in your neighbourhood is a shit act only devised to create hatred in your community. We should be here to support each other not to police each other. We all need to have each other’s backs especially now and be there willing to have a chinwag or offer support in any way we can to help each other get through this.
