24.01.2022 The way to achieve and move forward is not by doing more of what you already are. That clearly isn't working. It's time to release what is not serving you. Time to make space for the new. The new you. The new beginning. The new adventure. The new business. The new goals. ... Our subconscious programming means that we are on a constant loop. Whatever is going on in there - and science says around 70% of our beliefs are limiting and negative - is not serving us. If you think about the areas of your life which are lacking, that's the tell tale sign that your belief system is not beneficial to you. 24.01.2022 The conscious mind has the ability to accept or reject. Read that again. We can see, hear or experience things that are not ideal. BUT we have the conscious ability to hang on to it or not. ... How we think is the one thing that nobody can influence. We always have a choice. So what does that mean in our everyday life? It means that even though we get told something that is less than ideal, we have the choice to not get involved with the thought. We can consciously move past it and not let it effect our lives. Say you have someone at work that is negative and complains a lot, sure it would be easy to get caught up in it and entertain the thoughts. BUT it's much healthier for you to not think the same way and to move on. The subconscious mind on the other hand does not have the ability to choose thoughts. It cannot determine truth or not. That is why choosing your conscious thoughts wisely is so important! Just because one person thinks it doesn't mean it's true and also doesn't mean you need to get involved. They have clearly decided to live in that reality and I say - good for them, but it's not me! The thoughts we consciously choose to think, have the ability to filter to our subconscious mind. So....the next time you hear something that doesn't ring true to you. Or that you don't want to get involved with - don't! Nobody can force you to. You have the choice. 22.01.2022 You cannot be positive and negative about a situation or condition at the same time. The key is to decide which way to go when something challenging arises. If you tend to be negative, it's important to change your thought processes. That can be done a number of ways and it does take some time. But the payoff is quite amazing. ... Even when presented with negative information, my habit now is to find the good. There is good and bad in everything. That's a universal law. First step is changing that inner dialogue. The subconscious program that runs in the background 24/7. Then we work on our conscious/habit mind. Sometimes it's easy to fall back into a complaining, negative habit - but it's super important to be aware and switch back to the positive. I promise you, it's well worth the effort. 21.01.2022 Friday Self Care Tip Celebrate the small wins. Rather than focus on the end result which is often massive, it's important to celebrate small wins along the way.... A little progress each day really adds up. It's very powerful to celebrate along the way. It has a massive impact on your self confidence/self worth, sense of achievement and also your mental health. Instead of pushing to the end and not giving yourself any credit along the way, stop and celebrate every single little step. For example, if you are starting a new healthy eating routine, celebrate when you replace a diet soda with an extra glass of water every day. THAT is an achievement that will help you be healthier for the rest of your life. If you are building a new business, celebrate when you get your first coaching client. Every single client matter and will get you closer to your ultimate business goal. If you are wanting to spend less, get excited when you DON'T buy that extra whatever just because you can. 18.01.2022 When I was at school, I'd do everything I could to avoid public speaking. Even just standing up in front of my class to deliver a report would really freak me out. Far out it was bad. I'd go to some crazy lengths to get out of it! Even as an adult, the thought of delivering a workshop in front of a room full of participants made me so nervous. And I'd fumble and blunder with no self confidence. Maybe you've found yourself doing the same when it comes to something in your ...life, but just like my school days, when I finally found a way to work through it, everything changed. Now I'm much more comfortable. I am comfortable to pause, take the time to really think of what I want to say and I have a good time. 13.01.2022 Friday Self Care Tip It's quick, easy & FREE!!! Today's tip is to breathe. Yep, I know - you always breathe or you die. ... BUT have you noticed lately that your breathing is quite shallow? Or that you are getting stressed easily? And that you are always rushing around from one thing to the next? Could very well be because you are not breathing correctly. Let's have a try right now. For this experiment, sit down. This is just so you can really feel the difference. Get comfortable. Take a slow, big deep breathe through your nose. Right down to your tummy. In fact your tummy should expand from all of the air Hold that breath for at least 2 seconds. Slowly exhale through your mouth Repeat that 5 times. Chances are that you will feel a little light headed. That is because we are all a bunch of shallow breathers. Try and incorporate this into your day. After some time it will become habit. It's particularly helpful when going through something stressful.

12.01.2022 Our thoughts are more powerful than we know. And what we focus on, we create. As we think in our conscious mind and add emotion to it, the thought and belief filters into our subconscious mind. ... At present many people are focusing on the fear and chaos from the current world environment. As fear has emotion involved, this makes its way to the subconscious mind and we then start to operate on that vibrational level. If however we focus on and believe something that is positive - such as achieving a goal that we desire - and if we add emotion to it, that belief will make its way to our subconscious mind. And in turn raises our vibrational level. The key is to focus on what we want and desire. Not what we fear and don't want. 11.01.2022 Change is inevitable. One thing we can control is our perception and how we handle that change. Many years ago I began studying with a Buddhist group. Our nun taught about change and it has helped me so much. Everything changes. Every single little thing. The brick wall you are looking at is changing on a minute level, the tree is growing while you sit under it, your life is changing. Everything changes.... Changing perspective can help so much. 10.01.2022 Being in a state of rush is a fear based reaction. I've always been an achiever but attached to that was a sense of urgency and often overwhelm. It's almost like on some level I was thriving on it. Looking for more pressure and stress to push myself further.... The only thing that got me was burnout. And not just once. It was a routine, almost like a dance I did with myself. Work harder and faster. Feel the adrenaline kick in. But WOW I got so much done. Pats on back. And then I'd get up the next day and go again. The issue is that you are never at peace. Never truly yourself. Thankfully those are habits of the old me. I was fortunate in my self development journey to have had an awakening and step away from this destructive lifestyle. These days I work differently but achieve way more. There is no sense of urgency. I am calm. My mind is still. I fell completely at ease and happy. I don't let outside situations influence my being. Messages from family, friends, inter-generational trauma, our own self judgement. Being told and shown time and time again. Believing with every cell in your body that you are NOT worthy of love. They are all powerful messages. And over time we've made them our own. I'm here to tell you. You are worthy of every single little bit of love. All of it. You are perfect. Magnificent. So special. 05.01.2022 One of the reasons that we don’t do the things we dream of is that we might fail. We will likely suck. And OMG how embarrassing. Truth is, nobody is an expert at something when they first try. It takes thousands of hours of hard work and practice to become amazing. And what if that thing you really want to do lights up your life. It’s the thing you’ve always wanted to do or try. And it ends up being the most amazing experience every. ... You don’t fail until you stop trying. The key is to allow yourself to try. By changing your limiting and negative beliefs, you give yourself permission to try. And to fail. And to try again and eventually over time, succeed. Or perhaps you will realise that it’s not for you and then you can move onto something else. The point here? You need to try. You don’t know if you don’t try. Stop putting barriers up for yourself and have a crack. 04.01.2022 It's so important to have boundaries. And just as important, we need to be confident enough to stick to them - even when people are pushing and pushing you all the time. Without boundaries we will often: say yes when we really want to say no... be put in situations that we are not comfortable waste our prescious time on things that do not serve us get taken advantage of become the 'go to' for people who want to get stuff done And in effect, we: are disappointed in ourselves feel like a failure for not saying no wear ourselves out become a people pleaser don't honour our own wants and needs become anxious and overwhelmed diminish ourselves take the joy from our lives live a life that is not ours forget what we really want! lose ourselves completely It can be tough if you've never set boundaries before - people will expect the same old you and might push back when you start saying no. BUT it's worth it. The short term pain will be worth gaining your life back. Living free on your own terms. Of course there will always be a couple of people who just won't get it. And might keep on pushing. But if you stand firm, they will fall away over time. You are amazing. You can do this. You are strong enough to honour your wants and needs.
