25.01.2022 The Simpson Mens Shed will be closing today until further notice. Any projects or jobs will be on hold until it reopens. We apologise for any inconvenience but the health of our members must take priority.

24.01.2022 All welcome, share with any family or friends who would like to attend.

24.01.2022 This year unfortunately we won't be able to hold our community ANZAC service with the school kids so we thought it would be a great idea to get everyone to put ...a poppy on their front fence on ANZAC Day as a show of respect. If we have some restrictions lifted we could place them all in the park under the flag pole. Either way Simpson & district residents, lets make poppies. There are three simple ideas in this link and I will post more in coming weeks. https://www.yummymummyclub.ca//3-ways-to-make-poppies-for-

23.01.2022 Put this one in your calendar folks. Sure to be a great day catching up with old friends and neighbours.

19.01.2022 Today we get together to celebrate 10 years of the Simpson Mens Shed. It is pretty amazing what we have achieved in that time. Out first official Shed day was Monday 5th October 2009 at Joe Wetemans. Well done and congratulations to all involved.

19.01.2022 A big Thank You to everyone who came along to the Unwins Farewell last night. The turnout shows how highly regarded Ken and Betty are in our community. Betty... has volunteered and been Secretary at the Centre for 21 years and Ken has been involved with the Mens Shed since its inception in 2009. There would hardly be an organisation around Simpson that they havent been involved in or helped out at some stage. To find two people with such a passion for community is rare and they will certainly leave big shoes to fill here at the Centre. I imagine it will be an emotional week for them after 42 years in the area, I know tears will be shed here this week, but we wish them well as they move on to the next stage of their life together. We hope their new community is quick to recognise what beautiful people they are and welcome them whole heartedly. Good luck and God Bless. See more
