25.01.2022 Your health is of utmost importance to me. Hence I have just completed the Infection Control Training offered by our government. Even though in clinic we are al...ready adhering to reducing germs etc it was good to make sure we are doing everything we can to follow governmental procedures. Even though we are doing all we can to control the outbreak, it is very important to look after your immune system with a nutritious diet, exercise, sun and laughter and possible supplementation, herbal and homeopathic medicine. To make sure that I can still offer my services to my clients and to the wider community I am now offering all my initial, quick-fix and follow up consultations online via Zoom. Please book your appointment here or through the button on my Facebook page: https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=17290515

24.01.2022 Here is my first Newsletter ever. :) I am looking forward to many more now that I have overcome my technological inadequacies. Enjoy! Yours in health and happi...ness, Nicole https://mailchi.mp//newsletter-no-1-nicole-gray-assertive-

24.01.2022 Are you a strategic thinker? An Influencer? Are you good at executing plans or building relationships? Wouldnt you like to know? According to my Gallup Strength Assessment I have no Influencing strength in my top 5, but "Communcation" shows up on the 8th place. Being talented in Communication, means that it is easy for me to to put my thoughts into words and that am a good conversationalist and presenter. (I do love a good chat ;)) In the other 3 categories I am pretty even...ly spread. There are 34 Strength, so none of us are likely to be the same. When you are coming to the workshop you will find out about this and more. Ticket Sales will close on Thursday the 25th of September @ 5pm. This allows us to send you the assessement link so you can complete it beforehand and to finalise catering. Tickets will still be available on the night and you can complete the assessement after the event. Dont be shy! Book your ticket now! You wont regret the investement in yourself. Looking forward to seeing you there!

24.01.2022 It occurred to Pooh and Piglet that they hadnt heard from Eeyore for several days, so they put on their hats and coats and trotted across the Hundred Acre Wood... to Eeyores stick house. Inside the house was Eeyore. "Hello Eeyore," said Pooh. "Hello Pooh. Hello Piglet," said Eeyore, in a Glum Sounding Voice. "We just thought wed check in on you," said Piglet, "because we hadnt heard from you, and so we wanted to know if you were okay." Eeyore was silent for a moment. "Am I okay?" he asked, eventually. "Well, I dont know, to be honest. Are any of us really okay? Thats what I ask myself. All I can tell you, Pooh and Piglet, is that right now I feel really rather Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. Which is why I havent bothered you. Because you wouldnt want to waste your time hanging out with someone who is Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All, would you now." Pooh looked at Piglet, and Piglet looked at Pooh, and they both sat down, one on either side of Eeyore in his stick house. Eeyore looked at them in surprise. "What are you doing?" "Were sitting here with you," said Pooh, "because we are your friends. And true friends dont care if someone is feeling Sad, or Alone, or Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. True friends are there for you anyway. And so here we are." "Oh," said Eeyore. "Oh." And the three of them sat there in silence, and while Pooh and Piglet said nothing at all; somehow, almost imperceptibly, Eeyore started to feel a very tiny little bit better. Because Pooh and Piglet were There. No more; no less. (A.A. Milne, E.H. Shepard) Christmas can be a hard time for some people. Look after your mates. #itsinthebag

19.01.2022 Roseanne at Encompass Therapy wishes to inform her clients, referrers and the Singleton community that clinic and site-based services are suspended at this time.... Recent government and health updates on the coronavirus pandemic have issued notice to businesses that they must appropriately respond to new safety and health measures to help flatten the curve in Australia. In response to this, you will have noticed some changes happening at the Singleton Health Hub if you have visited recently. These changes have been made in line with guidelines from the Australian Governments Department of Health as outlined in the COVID-19 Infection Control Training. Despite these measures, social distancing rules are difficult to maintain given the nature of my work, hence the suspension of service at this time. I will continue to monitor Department of Health advice regarding guidelines for allied health professionals to determine an appropriate time to recommence clinic and site-based operation. In the meantime, telehealth consults are available. This is a very simple process involving a link sent to you by email to connect to a secure server allowing us to video call. If you are interested in trialling this service free of charge, please contact me by phone, email or by making an online telehealth booking via the Encompass Therapy website at www.encompasstherapy.com.au

12.01.2022 Did you know that you can give your used and unwanted eye glasses and/or frames to The Eye Place. They check what prescription they have and pass them onto an a...ppropriate charity who passes them on to people who cannot afford their own. I love that! Yesterday I handed one set in as I only recently found out about it. I had previously thrown some out and I thought it was a waste. So, yay for recycling and such a good cause! See more

06.01.2022 Did you know that today is Frozen Yoghurt day. Sorry, Useless Fact? I mean, really..... that should be a public holiday! Anyhoo, I love Frozen Natural Yoghur...t. I love how refreshing it is. I also like how the probiotic bacteria is kept alive but dormant when you freeze it. So I feel that it is a useful treat to maintain a healthy microbiome. Obviously I am not talking about Yoghurtland. I am not sure how the Yoghurt is treated there, so I cant vouch for the bacteria and sugar content. However, here is a recipe for you to try that I can say to be low added sugar and some beneficial bacteria will be kept alive: 1x 500 g tub of Jalna Natural Greek Yoghurt 4 cups of frozen fruit of your choice. You can also add 1/4 cup of nut butter Blend in a food processor until smooth but not over processed. Freeze for later or enjoy instantly. Enjoy! My favourite is banana and almond butter! Yum!

04.01.2022 Some useful reminders about how to support our loved ones through a cancer diagnosis.

03.01.2022 This has been doing the rounds! I feel it cant hurt and we need all the help we can get: Hello all Worldwide Collective Prayer Invitation for Australia: ... Currently there are out-of-control fires in 4 States of Australia. Human and animals lives are at risk-- with both human and many animal fatalities already. They need a miracle to bring on the rain. The power of people praying together is very powerful. You are invited to partake in a 3 minute prayer/intention where we collectively see/feel/hear: A massive gathering of monsoon rain, falling on the affected areas (see map below), lasting for days. Gentle consistant rain, soaking into the land, all fires are put out. See/feel/hear the people celebrating, full of joy and gratitude. All animals too are grateful ! See/feel/hear this in 3D, colour, present time, NOW. Collectively praying!/ intending together at the same time, has a much more powerful effect than when we pray individually. Please feel free to post this invitation to any friends or groups in your community Whatever faith or spiritual belief you connect to, enlist the Grace of this to come to Australias aid. The Compassionate Grace of the Divine will hear our calling!
