25.01.2022 Here is a post I had missed from our community section

23.01.2022 Had a phone call from Black Rock... someone visiting their gallery left a bag if you happen to check this page- you were on your way to Sir Huberts' cottage.

21.01.2022 A family-based historical mention of Sir Hubert's mother in our family from 1930, and how Sir Hubert visited them when back in Australia

21.01.2022 Here is our event that promises a fun trip, learning, and insight into Sir Hubert Wilkins. Some accommodation at Hallett.

21.01.2022 Reminder: Use the Hallett road to Sir Hubert's, the Mount Bryan East Road is giving people a lot of grief with punctures and stones... and after the rally this may be worse.

18.01.2022 Sir Hubert's father and mother Louise would have woken to snow this morning, in the paddock, garden and on the clothes. We get snow roughly every 3 years, and it transforms the landscape... here is our garden at the Gallery in Hallett this morning. The beautiful and mystical Mount Bryan would look stunning. This is why Australia's most significant gum, 3-4000 years old survives up there.

12.01.2022 The beautiful Razorbacks covered in snow where Mount Bryan rules, road very slippery, got bogged...

11.01.2022 A wonderful compliment from Australian Dr Richard Harris- when talking of hero's, he said he didn't see himself as a hero- rather someone like Sir Hubert Wilkins- what a great speaker he would make for the 20th Year Celebration. Sad to see Dick Smith so distressed- a great supporter of Australian enterprise and Sir Hubert

08.01.2022 Now is a unique opportunity to walk in the shoes of the Wilkins' family as we experience a drought, the searing temperatures that drove many, including the Wilk...ins' family when Hubert was 16 years old, from the land early last century... the 100 year cycle seems on us, with the 1910's to 40's experiencing a record run of droughts at a higher frequency than any this century. https://www.facebook.com//pcb.219527520/2195273304050148/

06.01.2022 A must see for Wilkins' fans

04.01.2022 Hi to Wilkins' fans who are hoping to travel to his birth place: The Mount Bryan pub is now closed and keys are not available there. Kymm has mentioned the Mount Bryan East Road is in very poor condition due to heavy track movements. Keys available at the Hallett Store/cafe/craft shop, the Hallett Olde School Gallery (88942284), and the Hallett Hotel. The safest and best way to Wilkins childhood home is via Hallett. New signposts are up, and the weather is stunning. Be ve...ry aware of large numbers of emus and kangaroos. In October the amazing Jamestown Air Show is on again- all thrills and action at very close range.

03.01.2022 The roads to Netfield will be wet as we had some good rain, beautiful day, the best road is from Hallett.

02.01.2022 Weekender is doing a feature on Netfield and Dare's Hill this weekend, a must see viewing!
