14.01.2022 Here’s a few more in our Asian range Malay Satay $9.50 Satay is a dish of meats traditionally skewered onto the midrib of the coconut leaf. To make, dry roast 3... tbsp spice on medium heat until fragrant, then remove from pan. Heat 1/2 tbs peanut oil, 1/2 tbs brown sugar & 6 tbs crunchy peanut butter, stirring continuously whilst adding the roast spice. Add water if required, pour over grilled skewers. Ingredients- Coriander, cumin, fennel, garlic, tumeric, onion, lemon grass, chilli. Ask us for the Drunken Carrot Noodles with Chicken & peanuts recipe Shichimi Togarashi $14.50 often called Shichimi this Japanese spice translates as seven-flavour chilli pepper. Use as a condiment for spicing up Udon noodles, soups, nabemono (one pot dishes) & yakitori. Ingredients - Chilli, black sesame, golden sesame, orange peel, blue poppy, white poppy, Sichuan pepper, anonori. Ask us for the Spicy Laksa or Miso Butter Pippies with Shichimi recipes. 12.01.2022 How about some flavours from Asia, here’s a few beauties. Quick Butter Chicken $13.50 A great favourite & make creamy ButterChicken at home in 30 minutes. Great... not only with meat but also in a vegetarian curry of pumpkin, carrots , cauliflower & even potatoes. Combine spice mix with coconut cream, butter & tomato paste for a rich, perfectly spiced dish . Ingredients Tumeric, cilantro, green cardamom, ginger, cumin, salt, sweet paprika, fennel, cinnamon, caraway, fenugreek, Indian black pepper, Clove, black cardamom. Ask us for the 30 minute Butter Chicken recipe or visit Gewurzhaus online Red Curry Blend $11.00 to make a delicious Red curry you only need this spice, heat 1 tbsp peanut oil, 2 finely chopped shallots & 2 tbsp spice fried until fragrant pounding the mixture with a wooden spoon as you fry. Add 500 g diced chicken & fry until sealed. Add 1 cup coconut cream, 1/2 tsp fish sauce. Bring to a simmer, add vegetables & cook for 10 minutes. Ingredients Raw sugar, coriander, sea salt, garlic, galangal, shrimp, kaffir lime leaf, chilli, paprika, lemon grass, lemon myrtle. Sri Lankan Curry Blend $11.50 A mild & aromatic all purpose Curry Blend. Dry roast before using for a robust curry flavour or add directly for a delicate final dish. Ingredients coriander seeds, cumin seed, yellow mustard seed, fenugreek seed, fennel seed, black pepper corn, cloves, green cardamom, curry leaves, cinnamon.
