Our winemakers #colby_quirk and Yuri Berns #yuzab released special wines such as the Cuvee Blanc Pemberton, 2019 Avant Garde Chardonnay Swan Valley, Coffee Rock Shiraz 2018 and NV Swan Valley Liqueur Muscat. Once again our winemaking team is proud to announce once again been named "Small Producer of the Year" in Ray Jordan's new 2021 WA Wine guide, a feat they scooped for the first time back in 2016! Ray declared" under Colby Quirk and Yuri Berns the wines have entered a new level of consistency, innovation and quality." Along with this amazing acknowledgment, our 2015 Marie Christien Lugten Grand Vintage was awarded Best Sparkling with 96 points and our 2018 T3 Best Shiraz with 98 points. Our Coffee Rock Shiraz 2018, Avant Garde blanc de blancs, Reserve Silk 2019, and the Avant Garde Tempranillo 2019 - all 4 scored 95/100 Congrats to our team and thank you Ray Jordan.
07.01.2022 Tyson Stelzer's Australian Sparkling report is out and Sittella has once again been named the best Sparkling Producer in Westen Australia and ranking The highest along with being awarded three stars. the Avant Garde Blanc de blanc scoring 92 points in the best of Australia's Blanc de blancs, Sittellas's NV Sparkling Chenin was rated second highest sparkling under $25 with 91 points. Tyson declared "Sittella has mastered the tension between the lemon, beurre bosc pear and appl...e crunch of elegant chenin varietal definition and the subtle almond meal complexity and texture of at least 15 months of lees age. It concludes with vibrant acid drive, fine, creamy texture and perfectly integrated dosage. Australia’s finest sparkling chenin is a noble and attractive cuvee that exemplifies what can be achieved even in a warmer region."
