25.01.2022 Longer daylight hours= horse riders heaven! Now that there are more daylight hours after school we will be adding some extra private lesson time slots for next term. All weekly lesson times will be confirmed this coming week so please get in touch ASAP if you have a rider interested in weekly lessons

23.01.2022 Today marks a very special anniversary! One year ago today I took the leap into making SJ Equestrian my full time job! Thankyou to all my wonderful friends, family and riders for your support, trust and enthusiasm over the last year. It is an absolute privilege that I get to do the thing I love every day. I hope to continue to teach young people to be kind, confident and strong, not just in their riding but in every aspect of their lives. 23.01.2022 Patiently waiting for the return of blue sky and T shirt weather! Ponies are having lots of additional days off due to the unpredictable weather lately, but on the upside; - the arena wall is half done and has been a God-send whilst riding and teaching on some of the windy days - the ponies are warm and dry in their rugs ... - the dams are full (overflowing) - at this rate we should have beautiful grass for Summer Hope you are all safe, warm and well Thanks for the gorgeous pic Pure Pixels

15.01.2022 On Saturday Evie and Roux had their first competition together at the Tuggeranong Adult Riding Club casual competition. They were absolute stars the whole day competing in hacking, showjumping, dressage and games. So proud of the lovely rider you are becoming Evie!

14.01.2022 What a lovely ‘full circle’ kind of day, today we had the pleasure of being joined by Bonnie, a pony I broke in about 7 years ago on my gap year and sold to Ariella who has done the most wonderful job continuing her education. She even shows of some of her tricks in the second photo! Ariella and Bonnie will be joining us for a few more clinics this holidays and we can’t wait for some more riders to meet them!

08.01.2022 Holiday clinic announcement Due to weed spraying at Sutton pony club grounds holiday clinics will now be held on my property, I will text out the new address to all those who are booked in. Meanwhile, we have been working hard today to make these clinics amazing; new yards and new cross country jumps! Looking forward to a great week

07.01.2022 Getting creative in our anatomy lessons with our experienced girls earlier this week

05.01.2022 Super fun day at TARC dressage and jumping today! Mackenzie rode Roux beautifully around the x rails and 30cm showjumping placing 4th and Prep C Dressage placing 2nd! Mackenzie works so hard in her lessons every week and it is amazing to see how far she has come already! I also rode Jeanette’s pony Jim who had his Elementary dressage debut placing 2nd- lots to work on but really happy with his first attempt. The rain definitely didn’t wash away any smiles today! Thankyou to the TARC committee for a lovely, friendly day.

05.01.2022 With term one lessons starting tomorrow it’s the perfect time to reflect and set some riding goals for this year. Whether it be having more control in the sitting trot, cantering without assistance, mastering the leg yeild or jumping a course, write them down and share them with me. I can’t wait to see what my lovely dedicated riders can achieve this year. This photo from a few years ago was me achieving a big goal, to ride at Sydney Royal Easter Show, a goal I had had since I was a child sitting in the stands every year with my dad. Always grateful to Cazzie for allowing this dream by letting me ride her big boy Ziggy.

03.01.2022 Heidi and Roux flying today Heidi started riding with me about 2 and a half years ago, she now has her own horse who she is having lots of fun with! So nice to reunite this pair after a few months focusing on her own horse

The day will include everything you need to know to get started competing in the showing and showjumping world.
