21.01.2022 Sadly the upcoming 2020 Inline Hockey Oceania Championships had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. But take a look back to 2011 Oceanias Championships on the Gold Coast - it's a 5 game series between Aus and NZ. In the Under 21 Division, it's 2-all after 4 games, and we watch the highlights in Game 5. After regulation game time, Aus and NZ are still tied. After going into 1st overtime, it's still tied! 2nd overtime begins. In one of the most exciting finishes, either team ...can still win the Gold medal. Here are the edited highlights of Game 5 Inline Hockey Australia https://youtu.be/qZw_qJqSozo

18.01.2022 Oceania’s 2020. This joint statement is issued on behalf of Inline Hockey Australia and Inline Hockey New Zealand. Direction received from World Skate, is that ...all World Skate sanctioned events must be postponed or cancelled as a result of the current pandemic level associated with CoVid-19. Additionally both the Australian and New Zealand Governments have introduced a 14 day self-isolation period for all international arrivals. As a consequence, the Oceania Championships scheduled to occur on the 16 April, will not proceed. Discussions will now continue at Federation level as to looking at the possibility of rescheduling later. Both countries will be using their own processes to contact their players.

14.01.2022 Today would have been the start of the 2020 National Inline Hockey Championships but sadly, due to COVID-19, there will be no Championships this year. 2020 so f...ar has been a year like no other and has delivered a great deal of hardship, disappointments and frustrations. In terms of our sport across the country we have seen the cancellation of Oceania and State Championships, local competitions and leagues to varying extents. This time of the year has always been special within state inline hockey calendars and whilst we will not see the crowning of National Champions this year, it still doesn’t stop us all from thinking about how good our sport is and celebrating what this time of year would normally deliver. Over the next eight (8) days, we will be posting a range of photos and video clips from past National Championships as a means of celebrating everything good about our sport and recognising our National Championships and all that it brings in terms of skills, competition and friendship. Let’s start today with our medals. I encourage you to post your first medal or first jersey you ever got whilst playing. Duane Voss, Chair ILHA

08.01.2022 While on the subject of Oceanias, hard to go past the epic decider game of the 2011 Senior Mens Oceanias Inline Hockey Championships. In best of 5 series, games are locked at Aus 2 NZ 2, going into Game 5. At the end of regulation time, the game is locked 4 all. After a short break, the game goes into overtime - overtime is 10 minutes, and if there's no result, overtime is repeated, and so on.... At the end of first Overtime, still no result. It's such a close competition, either side can still win the championships with 1 golden goal .... Here are the edited highlights of Game 5 Inline Hockey Australia https://youtu.be/xca1QNdBe1Y
