If you are looking after an older person with dentures, or wear dentures yourself, here are a couple of tips to help keep the dentures clean 1. Dentures should be cleaned like natural teeth - preferably after every meal 2. Rinse dentures under running water... 3. Brush with a denture brush or soft toothbrush using a liquid soap or dishwashing liquid 4. DO NOT use toothpaste as it creates light scratches on the surface of the denture, making food stick to the denture rather than gliding off it! 5. Soak the dentures in a cleaning solution (eg.
