The beginners Sketchup Modelling Essentials class was a full class and we covered a lot of interesting presentation styles in yesterdays Sketchup For Visualisation class which unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of... so there is a picture taken from my balcony instead!

16.01.2022 Over in Melbourne at the moment and we have a new Rising Star winner - Angela - easily completing the difficult modelling challenge. It must have been good schooling because as it turns out we went to primary school together and were in the same class in grade 4! A very uncanny coincidence. And I was lucky enough to go on a tour of Glen Murcutts Islamic Centre in Newport (the other picture) - always interesting to experience the work of a master architect!

And congratulations to Garreth who is now the second winner of the prestigious Sketchup Rising Star award - pictured with trophy - whose unorthodox technique saw him successfully complete the difficult modelling challenge!

I only brought one trophy with me so James unfortunately will just have to make do with the JB Hifi voucher and the accolade of his peers.
