23.01.2022 Rain, rain and more rain! When will it end?! Cant even walk on some of my clients lawns!

21.01.2022 Any way, took my Toro Zero Turn to Pellows instead and they have been more than helpful and have bent over backwards to get me going again. Here is what has transpired so far..... a new engine was fitted, it went back 4 times in 4 weeks as it kept loosing power/backfiring/missing, with the diagnosis that it needed new coils (leads and plugs were done as 1st port of all), left coil was replaced, took it out and brought it back again as was still doing same thing.(I should men...tion that in Pellows defence it only occured under load when hot, and they also came out to me one time and spent an hour on it in the field at no cost to me) So ordered second coil, went to fit it and noticed a bit of slop in the main crank (the engine is less than 10 hours old), dug a bit deeper and found the entire magneto system smashed up from the flywheel hitting the magnets and stuff, metal chunks in oil etc. So now we have a second 'junk' engine! Currently have an 'as traded' 42" Toro zero turn on permanent loan until the new engine arrives and is fitted to my 60". hohum. See more

20.01.2022 Some pics of an edging job I did a week or so ago.

20.01.2022 So.... The new engine that was fitted to my zero turn about 18 months ago by Australian chainsaw products in kingsmeadows did a head gasket about 3 months ago. Returned it to Aust Chainsaw to be repaired under warranty, 2weeks later I got it back. Mentioned that it had a bit of a knocking sound when I started it and was told that 'its because we pulled it apart and put it back together'. (try and argue with that logic will you?!) also, they charged me for labor sighting that ...EPG (the engine supplier) would not pay labor as it overheated due to dirty air cleaners??!? So... lugged it out to Beaconsfield and it ran for a total of 5 to 10 min before munching its self internally. Royally miffed at Aust Chainsaw at this point, rang EPG and asked where I stood as I had paid for part of the fix and was told they had paid ALL costs and my out of pocket was news to them and they would look into it. Long story short, Oz Chainsaw has now lost their 'contract' with EPG due to dishonesty as I was one of many that had this problem with them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AUSTRALIAN CHAINSAW PRODUCTS in Kings Meadows. They are dishonest and clearly poor mechanics! See more

18.01.2022 Zero turn all good now.Starts and runs BEAUTIFULLY! Thanks Pellows! Now to rebuild the deck..... :-/

18.01.2022 So, ordered parts for mower at a 'reputable' mower centre, went back a week later to collect and discover they wern't even ordered. Parts then ordered for overnight delivery on a tuesday, didnt turn up wed, thurs, fri or sat. Now they are closed till the 6th of Jan. Not helpful ! :(

17.01.2022 Torro gear box gone again. Simple cause, big problem. A roller cap bearing fell out and munched the crown and pinion. All parts available ex USA. Now have to wait........
