18.01.2022 Dermatoscopy. Surface microscopy of the skin using a special hand held tool. Both of us SkinDocs are holding one in our cover photo series. To be honest, we’re rarely seen without it. Australian guidelines (NHMRC) are that skin cancer practitioners should be trained in dermatoscopy and using a dermatoscope routinely when performing skin checks.
