Wet hands first, then add enough soap to cover all hand surfaces & devote at least 20 seconds to the hand washing process. ... Hand sanitisers (with at least 60% alcohol) are recommended when hand washing with soap & water is not available. Alcohol based hand sanitisers with less than 70% alcohol can cause bacterial resistance & are ineffective against the highly contagious viral infections. .
