22.01.2022 Our week is certainly underway. We started our Monday with a house fire in Carrum Downs. Fire Fighters in breathing apparatus stopped the spread of the fire.... We had a large number of different agencies supporting us including Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police, and Fire Rescue Victoria station 91 (Frankston) From CFA we had Carrum Downs Fire Brigade and Bayswater Fire Brigade-CFA providing BA fill services. 21.01.2022 On the eighth day of Christmas, CFA said to me... Even Santa has a fire plan that includes his reindeer and so should you if you have animals on your property! Being prepared will help minimise stress on yourself and your animals if there was to be an emergency this summer.

19.01.2022 Today we again assisted our friends and colleagues from Langwarrin Fire Brigade (CFA) to a cardboard crusher fire. The fire was extinguished quickly by Woolworths staff and fire fighters. 17.01.2022 Recently our Fire Fighters attended a single vehicle accident, involving a vehicle rolling over on it's roof. The caller had told 000 that one occupant was trapped. Skye Fire Brigade arrived onscene first to find both occupants were out of the vehicle. Ambulance and Police arrived a short time later. Ambulance attended to the two occupants. It's a timely reminder to take extra care on the roads, especially at this time of year.



16.01.2022 As we all like to get away this time of year, here are a couple of hints to make it safe.

16.01.2022 The brigade has experience a reasonably busy week this week. One of the calls this week was to assist our friends at Ambulance Victoria with access to an injured patient in the Pines Flora and Fauna reserve. CFA is about more than just fighting fires. We are often called to unusual/unique calls for assistance or to support our partner emergency services agencies.

13.01.2022 Our Fire Fighters assisted onscene recently with our friends Carrum Downs Fire Brigade. On this occasion we were supporting them to a gas leak in a residential area of Carrum Downs. CFA more than just fires.

13.01.2022 25/08/2020. Our brigade attended a truck v car collision occurring in Skye. On arrival the brigade provided fire suppression (in case of fire) and isolated the batteries of the vehicles to reduce the risk of fire.... A number of patients were checked by Ambulance Victoria but did not require a trip to hospital. Our brigade was support by SES Frankston Unit Carrum Downs Fire Brigade FRV Station 91 and Carrum Downs Police. Thanks to the supporting agencies/brigades for their support.

13.01.2022 Today is thank a first responder day. If you see one out an about today, give them a toot, a wave, a smile or even saying thanks. Those simple acts can go a long way in a first responders day who might have just dealt with something that you cannot imagine.... Today we thank our emergency services partners for the work that they do.

11.01.2022 On Saturday 21/11/2020 our brigade was responded to a large disel spill along the Westernport Highway at Ballarto Road Skye. The incident occurred when a passing truck had its disel tank punctured. Our brigade arrived first onscene shortly after we were assisted by Fire Station 92 (Cranbourne) and Langwarrin Fire Brigade (CFA).... Fire Fighters conducted traffic control and laid down soakerall (a natural absorbent). We would like to thank Casey Highway Patrol for their assistance. Eyewatch - Casey Police Service Area. Casey Highway Patrol members remained onscene awaiting the arrival of Vicroads.

11.01.2022 A very busy week for the brigade. We attended, 2x alarms at protected premises (shopping centres), ... 1x gas leak, 1x car accident, 1x grass fire, 1x burnoff and finally 1x smoke issuing for a house. Yo...u may have to use the BBQ with some issues you’ll need to address. Check the hose for holes and leaks. Wipe the plate so clean it squeaks. Check your gas bottle is still safe to use. And enjoy your day safely however you choose. See more

10.01.2022 Our Fire Fighters continue to respond to emergencies, whilst we have had to modify the way we do business we are still responding to all range of emergency calls and serving our community as we always have. Here is our pumper and a Fire Fighter at a recent car crash.

10.01.2022 Our brigade recently attended to assist our friends at Carrum Downs Fire Brigade with a garage fire in Carrum Downs. We provided fire fighters in breathing apparatus aswell as a BA controller responsible for monitoring crews wearing breathing apparatus. We also provided assistance in closing the road untill Victoria Police arrived and took over this responsibility. We thank the community for their understanding.

01.01.2022 Our brigade recently attended a burnoff at a private property. It is a timely reminder to check the requirements for a burnoff with both your local council and at cfa.vic.gov.au All residents of Frankston City Council MUST have a permit to burn all year round.
