07.05.2022 Travelled Bells Beach to Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road Saturday. Weather is great. Visited the Gin Kitchen, the Chocolate Factory as well as many of the landmarks. Might run into Hans today on our way to the Redwoods and the twelve Apostles. The Rip Curl Pro Surf Champs start today so we checked out what was happening at Bells Beach and lots of surfing practice was in motion.

23.04.2022 CAMPING, SUNFLOWERS, GORGE SWIM & HIKE in the SCENIC RIM Let's go Camping. 2 nights April 1st & 2nd. Opportunity for water sports, Hiking and an exclusive invite to Kalbar Sunflower Farm for some field Photo opportunities.... Campsite - Yarramalong Yarramalong Camping is situated on Reynolds Creek. It's a 160-acre property nestled in a beautiful scenic rim valley. There's an opportunity for swimming if you can brave the water temp (recommend a long sleeve rashie). You can swim in the creek, or you can relax and float down the creek. The rock wall and a rope swing provide an adrenalin rush for those willing to take the plunge. You can also paddle the creek with one of the supplied kayaks you can hire from the rec hall or simply throw a line with bait or lure and catch a fighting bass for dinner. Our camp site would be on the main oval. There are private fireplaces, plenty of room and facilities (toilets and hot showers) located 1 minute away. Tent Supplied - large tent provided - these are 4-man tents that you can stand up in. Suitable for twin share or single occupancy. You just need to bring your own sleeping bag, sleeping mat and tent light. (we recommend a head torch for walking around camp). Food - Breakfast and Dinner provided on Saturday plus Breakfast Sunday morning. Breakfast is a fully cooked Gourmet Breakfast featuring Korean Enoki Pancakes (gluten free, vegetarian packs a punch), greens, mushroom, relish, bacon, and poached eggs with sourdough bread. Fresh drinking water supplied all weekend. BYO - drinks and snacks. We have a large esky with ice for your cold beverages.
