19.05.2022 Happy 2022 everyone, all the best

17.05.2022 Hi all, have a limited stock of these super bright LED globes, that are a direct replacement for the stock globe , taking 5 minutes to fit. Will post an installation video ,with beam pictures next, cheers.

02.05.2022 Hi all Skyteam Ace owners , have located some more 240mm disc rotors , and have enough spacers , aluminium buttons and sintered brake pads to produce around 18 brake upgrade kits. if I can get enough interest I will produce these kits again, at around $200 AUD. A must have safety feature and life saver these larger brake kits really shorten the distance to stop. A must have for 250 and 300cc kitted bikes with the extra power. Please message below if interested, and I'll take it from there.

22.04.2022 Finished a 250cc conversion last week from 125. Have found some satin finish clear for the exhaust and like the sheen, it gives ( one of my handmade all in one systems ). Will be painting all my exhausts like this, as it adds to the layers for a longer life.. The kit I supply is also shown, and have sold around 30now, as well as fitting around 12 at my workshop. Had the dual seat retrimmed in leather at the same time. Owner text me after the ride home, and said it went better than he expected, and climbed hills in 5th gear, rather than changing down the gears. Video to follow.

12.04.2022 Getting there with my massive amount of orders for the tune kits, and have sent out packages this week. Found a willing helper in my 11 year old Ava, as a parts picker. She does great work , and is making some pocket money for her art supplies.

25.01.2022 Noticed my young fella Harry had a new t-shirt with a motorbike on it. After looking closer it very closely resembles a Mercury, even down to the fins on the cylinder head , see what you think!!

24.01.2022 4th Ace owner in New Zealand kitted out with a full tune kit ( OKO 30mm, CDI, header pipe, sprocket). How many other Ace owners in NZ, lets have acount?

24.01.2022 Have been pretty busy the last few months, so here is my latest post on the factory dual seat trimmed in leather by my friend fitted to the bike.

23.01.2022 Here 's how to check your battery which can be sometimes overlooked. Checking every fortnight along with tyre pressures, oil level and chain tension is a good safety routine.

23.01.2022 Hi everyone here's a video I made showing how to fit Sol Invictus Mechanical's performance CDI kit, an easy modification that helps with easier starting, smoother engine response, better spark advance and a higher redline, enjoy the video, and stay tuned for more in the future.

23.01.2022 And now tensioning the chain, after painting the adjustment notches. Look for around 10mm deflection when lifting the chain, after tensioning ( being seated on the bike is better as it adds load).

22.01.2022 Hello and welcome to S Mechanical, a place to learn about the Sol Invictus bikes and their workings. From the original Mercury, and Nemissis to the lates bike ...the Apollo. Stay tuned as I add photos, posts , videos etc. Here's " Sol Invictus Shoppe "for my "Performance tune kits", exhaust systems, suspension parts, brakes etc. This is a stand alone page, and not from the Sol Invictus company. Kind regards Michael Bee See more

22.01.2022 Have made a short video that will help people learn how to replace a clutch lever, and adjust the clutch free travel. This will also help in replacing a clutch ...cable as once the adjuster is slackened at the crankcase, and the knurled adjuster at the perch has it's slot aligned, the cable can be removed. Have quality Taiwanese lever sets ( brake and clutch), available in black or silver @$35 the pair, hope this helps cheers. See more

22.01.2022 Happy 2020 everyone, stay safe in the height and fires, hopefully it rains enough soon :)

21.01.2022 Possibly the last V-Retro left in Australia with 32 Kilometres on it , went out the door recently. I custom painted the tank and side covers in a PPG colour called simply " Fine metallic silver", made a little underslung shorty exhaust with turbo muffler, fitted and tuned a 30mm OKO "D" slide carburettor and performance CDI kit for some extra performance and speed, along with some different handlebars, and quality Michelin tyres. Will follow up with a video of the exhaust note :)

21.01.2022 Put the tank and side covers I painted a few weeks back onto the Mercury, along with a brown seat the owner bought with him. It also gut a full "tune " kit fitted, and runs much better, with more midrange/top end grunt, reaching 122 kmh on my test spin.

21.01.2022 Painting some more ACE headers I've made ( thanks to all that have fitted them). I apply 2 coats of primer and 4 of black using the Rustoleum product, as it out lasts other types I trialled ( including an expensive paint with ceramic particles). If anyone wants to improve power and torque on their ACE, these exhaust headers ( combined with a revers cone or similar), are a great start, as unfortunately the factory system is restricted due to ADR laws. Header pipes $175 + postage.

21.01.2022 Have recently restocked the EGR blank plates to tidy up the plumbing for the engine. Kit includes a gasket, and 2 chromed bolts, and sells for $16 +postage

20.01.2022 Nice to receive this video from a happy customer, thanks mate, and all the best with your Ace.

20.01.2022 Whilst busy painting recently I used the last of the ACE silver on these shortened fenders, and then sealed the basecoat with PPG clear.

19.01.2022 Am sponsoring Nicholas Wilkins with his Race ACE, which he has been campaigning for 3 years chasing Honda CBR125r's with the North Coast Road Racers (NCRR). Firstly a RACE ACE kit with my flow tested header pipe , Japanese VM26 carburettor, OKO D slide 26mm and 30mm carburettors ,which I've set up for sea level racing at tracks at Grafton, Lismore and Tamworth (500 metres), on Go Kart tracks. Also a Takegawa Hipo CDI, and some Bridgestone racing tyres to replace his street tyres, he's currently using. Hope he gets better results in the future.

19.01.2022 When storing a motorbike, or not using it very often, it's best to turn the fuel off (with motor running), untill the carburettor runs dry.Even better to drain the carburettor ( especially long term storage), and if possible spray carburettor cleaner inside the float bowl to remove any remaining petrol. Pictured is a carburettor I stripped down that had been sitting for 9 months. It wouldnt start because of the blocked jets and ports ( the owner couldnt believe fuel could turn to this)!! Modern fuels breakdown quickly, so be aware.

17.01.2022 Thought I'd post about the LED globe I fitted to the Nemisis Classic, with an output of 4500 Lumens ( I stock for $45 + postage). These are high quality and lon...g lasting ( have 2 in my car fitted 5 years ago), as cheap ones are just that...cheap. Pictures show, standard globe output , fitting the LED globe and the new brighter globe output. A life saving addition to be seen and see better at night. See more

17.01.2022 Due to the demand for the "Tune kit" for the 250 Mercury I've been restocking the OKO "D" slide carburettors and performance CDI kits. Thank you all for your su...pport, It's nice to know I'm making these great bikes go faster with more torque and power to move up hills easier, and cruise at higher speeds along highways, cheers. See more

16.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone, and all the best in 2020 ;)

15.01.2022 The place to shop for quality CCW Heist upgrade kits.To place an order or for more product information simply call Michael on 0422760306, message via Facebook ,or email [email protected]

14.01.2022 A busy couple of weeks painting bikes, with my trusty Iwata 400 spraygun. Main focus is a red ACE complete with fairing. Clear coated the tank to lock the stickers in. Will post pictures when fitted to the bike.

14.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone, thanks everyone for the support in 2019, was a busy year, CHEERS :)

11.01.2022 Finished a first service on Jeremy's Nemesis today, involving setting valve clearances, oil/filter change, brake fluid flush, reset clutch cable and dismantled... clutch lever to grease pivot bolt, adjusted chain ( lubed) and rear brakes, as well as lubing pivot points, swapping out the spark plug and cap to NGK items and checking all the lights and horn. He enjoyed the trip back to Goulburn from Canberra, as the sun was shining nicely today. Big shout out to the lads at Sol Invictus for the referral, cheers ;) Anyone willing to ID the bikes behind the Nemisis? See more

10.01.2022 17 tooth standard front available ( 16 and 15 tooth available for lower gearing) . Rear sprockets (German made) starting with stock 42 tooth ( 34, 36,38, 40 available for taller gearing). Front $20 and rear $45+postage.

10.01.2022 Have been helping Gavin Edge in WA with his Skyteam Skymax ( originally a 50cc), buy supplying a tuned OKO 30mm carburettor, performance CDI to get it going faster, with a 125cc Lifan motor. He fitted the parts and was stoked with the performance gain, that he sold the bike to concentrate on his other project a QA 50 Honda, that will be set up for drag racing only!! Stay tuned for an update as the new build continues ;)

09.01.2022 Fitted an Acewell speedo today to a Mercury. These are a great speedo and are extremely accurate as well as having indication lights for most functions ( indicators , neutral light, oil light, fuel guage, tachometer. Have fitted several to to the Skyteam Ace as well as other brands of bikes, and at $185.00 AUD landed anywhere in Australia, there great value for money

09.01.2022 The start of a promotional video for the S Mechanical Mercury "Tune " kit being fitted and test ridden, stay tuned for more, and the completed video , and YouTube channel

09.01.2022 Showing how to repair a stripped thread for a seat mount, using a helicoil kit.

08.01.2022 Finally after waiting 3 weeks there's more stock of the OKO carburettors I need for my tune kits. Thanks to all the Skyteam, CCW and Sol Invictus owners that have been waiting patiently.

08.01.2022 Busy painting a Sol Invictus Mercury tank, in a metallic British racing green. First remove factory stickers and sand original paint to use as a base. Next Hifill primer, then more sanding to remove any imperfections, followed by the green basecoat, applying stickers and 3 coats of clear and then baking in the booth for 30 minutes. Will post pictures of the bike, when assembled.

07.01.2022 A little rundown on checking and adjusting valve clearances on the 400 Nemesis Classic.

06.01.2022 Cutomised V-Retro video- Michelin tyres, handmade shorty exhaust with turbo muffler, performance CDI kit, OKO 30mm D slide carburettor, MX handlebars and custom paint in PPG " Fine metallic silver"

06.01.2022 Welcome back to 2020, and following on from fitting a new chain this video shows how to tension it correctly , by firstly understanding how to get the adjustmen...t even. Please note the white out can be easily removed with carby clean , after setting the chain up, with about 10mm deflection ;) See more

05.01.2022 Had this little beastie in for service last week a nice CBR300 from Mr Honda. Didn't have enough time to see if this engine has similar dimensions to the Chinese engines, as it could make a neat conversion for the Skyteam or Sol Invictus bikes.

03.01.2022 Have restocked my EGR blank plate kits to tidy up the plumbing on the 250 Mercury, and will be selling them for $16 + postage. includes a gasket and 2 shiney chrome bolts

03.01.2022 Had this nice new Nemisis Classic in for it's first service , and noticing it had a H4 bulb I swapped it for an LED one. Really like the gloss black paint, and think silver would look nice.

02.01.2022 Finally arrived more OKO carburettors. Covid strikes again with a delayed wait of 4 weeks, from the usual 1 week. Thanks to everyone waiting on these kits and people that purchased them. The price has risen unfortunately, and am trying not to raise the price I sell them at once I change float height, pilot and main jets etc ;)
