20.01.2022 It’s been fantastic being able to resume school visits for the first time since mid March. Over the past two weeks the Covid-19 Safety Protocols have worked very well. These include the wearing of a face mask and protective shields at floor (seated) level. Hopefully the current Sydney clusters will be contained soon. Stay safe!

19.01.2022 Year 3 had a planetarium incursion today. We all went to space. We had a blast!

13.01.2022 Very proud to be a regular visitor to Tara. I was given a tour of the telescope by the Oxford astronomer during its installation. He also attended one of the planetarium presentations and loved the tour of the Southern night sky.

11.01.2022 Excitement plus!!

11.01.2022 Don't miss tonight's Lunar Eclipse! Thanks John Rombi from Macarthur Astronomical Society for the link.

10.01.2022 A huge thank you to all the staff and students of Blaxland East Public School. It was a great week!

05.01.2022 The ISS will be doing a flyby over Sydney tonight. Should reach 60 degrees above the horizon at about 18:24. Will be bright as well, will start from the WNW and... then reach it's highest point in the SW, then take off to the SE of the sky. Here is a map of the path from www.heavens-above.com centered on Mac Uni. Will get close to Jupiter as well.
