Thankyou for recovering from two c sections, all the illness over the years and all the nights where I drank way too much. Thankyou for still functioning after poor food choices, when I haven’t always been kind to you and when I haven’t drank enough water or had enough sleep. Thankyou for nursing my babies the highest nutrition, getting me through some craz...y fitness events and still keeping me going today! You may look different, jiggle more and the scales say I’m heavier but I’ve never appreciated you more. You may have a few stretch marks, scars, loose skin, abs that are too far apart and a pelvic floor we are working on but I’ve never loved you more. I may never look like I once did and that is totally okay because we have had some big battles but I’m grateful for what we can do, what we have done & the life you have given me. 16.01.2022 One of the greatest things about Slamfit is you don’t have to worry about the workout! Just rock up and we’ve got it for you! We will explain it, go through technique, then we usually come around and ask you individually of injuries or ability etc we might need to change for you (individualising the session for each person) and again asking if there are any questions before we start. We will continuously be moving, watching, encouraging and guiding you through the workout. So even though it’s a group we really focus on that workout being yours! You also get to work on your strengths and weaknesses! You don’t know what the workout is until you arrive and that means you do the things that you don’t always love as well as see how incredible you truly are! #slamfit

03.01.2022 My Journey Following todays post I had so much enquiry into my journey I forget many members have only ever seen me as ‘Mum Sam’ so here goes! Image 1: 2012-2017 My fitness journey started and peaked. Super fit and lean fell pregnant June 2017 Image 2: 2018 HELLP syndrome had hit and I delivered Hayleigh via emergency c-section at 34 weeks pregnant. I had gained about 8kgs before the swelling hit which sky rocketed to 20kgs quickly ... Image 3: About one week Post partum Image 4: August 2019 (18 month PP Baby 1) I fell pregnant & completed 1000 burpees for charity Image 5: The day I took the pregnancy test for Holly Image 6 & 7: The day and night before our schedule c section (so nervous) I had gained about 26 kg’s #snickers Image 8: About 5 days post partum Image 9: 6 months Post Partum Baby #2 now So as you can see my body has had a journey. At all points (beside the HELLP syndrome) I have felt healthy, fit and trained. I had to work really hard after Holly to love this body as I have had the most changes now but gee, I’m proud! I have been able to have a super healthy milk supply, recover well from both births and mainly keep my mental health so positive thanks to this lifestyle #slamfit #myjourney
