23.01.2022 YP Saturday night Polocrosse started up last night in Minlaton for the 2018/19 season. Had a great run with Bossy in the A grade! All our hard training over the year has paid off and I'm SO SO happy with how he went! #SLKingValentine

23.01.2022 Started doing some Liberty training with Saffron yesterday. She picked it up surprisingly well. In this video I was teaching her to swap sides without me having to pull on the halter or lead. She got the hang of it really quick. Now for some more training today #SLCashForTee

22.01.2022 FOR SALE $1800 PRICE REDUCED (NEED GONE - AS HE IS OUT OF WORK) SL Zedanoble aka 'Benny' 9yo, 16hh, Thoroughbred Gelding ... Benny is a sweet natured boy. Benny has done trail riding, basic flatwork, been to the beach and even had a crack at a barrel race. He is wonderful on trail rides, goes at a nice snail pace, will go forward and stop easily, walked over a weigh bridge near a town, had cars, trailers, buses and trucks fly past at 100km with no fuss at all. Still working on a more consistent frame but with more consistent flatwork he will look amazing. Has jumped up to 95cm with ease, just lazy. Good to shoe, catch. Lives with sheep so has no problem with them. Good to float, just needs a bit of encouragement. Would suit a trail horse/allrounder. Lovely boy, responsive and easy to teach. Good home is a must!

21.01.2022 Another polocrosse tournament done and dusted. Bossy and I played in C grade. Played 4 games on Saturday and made it to the grand final on Sunday but unfortunately lost to Naracoorte by only a couple goals. Was a great weekend, best tournament ever and Boss performed the best he's ever done before My goal was to get best horse and I honestly thought he had it this weekend, he played so amazingly! But unfortunately we didn't quite make the cut this time round. He will get i...t one day, I know it So happy with his performance this weekend For the barrel race on Saturday night I entered all three horses; Boss, Saffron and Benny. Benny did his best but didn't make it to the top 5. Saffron was on fire and got a time of roughly 22 seconds, made it into the TOP 5!!! She finished on a time of roughly 20 seconds and came 4th so proud of my little girl! Boss had a time of about 20 seconds, also made it to the top 5 but unfortunately knocked a barrel in our last attempt in the top 5 which gave us a time of about 25 seconds and that left us in 5th place. Overall, a great weekend with these three stooges

21.01.2022 UPDATE! Been a while since the last post! Bossy finally free of his wooly mamoth coat. Boss and Saffron are in training for polox which is starting on the 22nd of September. Benjy is in light work, trying to have him going nicely for hopefully a few b grade games this year. Benny is enjoying a big rest as i dont have time for all 4 to be in work. And last but not least, Allan is being his usual self, been to the beach and a road trip to redhill with Boss to get Boss clipped.... Also the baa baa's are all well, the lambs will be weaned soon. 18.01.2022 Not only does SL have horses and a little pony... but we have a Baa Baa as well! This is Jaz. She loves the horses!! She follows them everywhere and baa's everytime I take them away from her. She gets a nice yummy feed every night and eats with the horses too she's looking nice and fat.. hoping there's 1 or 2 little Baa Baa's in that belly

17.01.2022 Well Saffron survived her first tournament this weekend down at Naracoorte. We played in C grade, lost the first game by 1, won the second game and lost the semi final but I'm so happy with how she went. Besides being bloody lazy in the semi on Sunday. 13.01.2022 SOLD TO A LOVING SHOW HOME Sorrento Nick Ole aka 'Allan' 5yo 80cm... Pinto Stallion Allan is for sale due to no fault of his own. I am moving away and cant take him with me unfortunately. He is a cute little rascal but he has a stallion attitude and does attempt to bite sometimes. If you have food, he's your best friend. I understand his previous owner used him to service a couple of her own mares and I believe they were successful pregnancies. I haven't used him for service while I've had him but I can imagine some gorgeous foals that would come from him. He has been saddled/mouthed and ridden, have led him over small jumps, loves the beach, can lead off another horses, is good to float and can float backwards as well, lovely long/thick mane and tail. Runs up to you in the paddock and follows you like a puppy. He is or can be registered Pinto and Miniature Pony. I have his birth certificate that will go with him. GENUINE ENQUIRIES ONLY! NO TIME WASTERS!!

What a legend he is after having barely been touched since he was born (has done groundwork) and having worked with him for no longer than an hour this afternoon.. he has surprised many today, not a foot wrong by this beautiful boy. He has done basic flatwork, some jumping, trail rides, beach rides and a few Polocrosse games. He's good to float, shoe and catch. No nasties. Can be full of beans when fresh out the paddock after a few months off but settles quite quickly. Would suit a confident rider. No beginners. Would make a good allrounder horse. 03.01.2022 After about a month off work, I took Benjy out for a ride with a friend and he was an absolute gem! Rode bareback, went for a bit of a canter, rode along side a highway and he didnt put a foot wrong. My friend hoped on and he was so so behaved for her too.
