HB 198 and the BCA indicate pendulum OR ramp, however this doesn't necessarily ensure a safe working environment. The pendulum test is best for assessing wet water contamination with people wearing shoes, the ramp slip test assesses oily floor surfaces. The most appropriate slip test will depend on the footwear and the contaminants involved.
