24.01.2022 Drum roll please....starting from the top..... Our Under 16 Div 1 Coaches are Grant and Gareth Holt! We are excited the boys are back and trying their hands at an older age group. Gareth is a SLFC Premiership player, he hasn’t played this year due to Covid but will be back on the field in 2021. Whilst Grant was a Premiership player with Launceston FC in the statewide league. Both played their junior football at SLJFC and we can’t wait to see what they can do with this group.

15.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that one of our biggest advocates, Terry (Tezza) Coghlan passed away on Tuesday night at 9:25pm. Terry will be remembered firstly as one of the junior clubs’ greatest supporters, volunteer and friend. He was one of the greatest clubmen to both the Senior and Junior clubs, he was always the first one to arrive and usually the last to leave, never one to say no. His dedication, commitment and love for the junior players and their... families will not be forgotten. His happy, smiling face behind the bar on a Friday night or behind many a BBQ, are some of our fondest memories of Terry, along with his legendary stories and jokes. Our sincere condolences go out to the Coghlan family, who are in our thoughts at such a sad time. Fondly remembered, Sadly missed... Barb, Dave, Sarah and the SLJFC Committee, Players and Families If you or someone you know needs to chat please call Rural Alive and Well - 1300 HELP MATE

14.01.2022 Please see below the details for our beloved Terry's funeral. Terry was at every big junior game and event over the years, he was our number 1 fan. Terry loved the opportunity to get the Bulldog mascot out and entertain everyone. Now it's our turn to honour Terry and give him the send off he deserves. Wear your red white and blue in memory of Tez.

04.01.2022 Under 16 Div 2.....They enjoyed this year so much, we didn't even need to ask them to come back in 2021! We welcome Will and Michael as Co-Coaches of our Div 2 team. Will a former Prospect Coach and current St Helens Swans player and B&F player in 2019. Michael just recently retired from Evandale Football Club and has had a long football career.
