19.01.2022 Well, what can we say. In what has been an absolute ETERNITY of uncertainty and a mound of anxiety, finally we have reached that light at the end of the tunnel. It’s in our hands and after we congratulate ourselves, we can finally as a state, start to mend, heal and rebuild. It is hard to describe to others in our country and around the world what we have just been through.......but we have just shown them all, how resilient we are. ... It may be hard to see right now as we are still in a transitional period with new rules, but we will adjust. After all, we weren’t voted the most liveable city in the world for nothing, right? It’s onwards and upwards for here and right in time for summer.

Rosie often visited the flower market with her family and was doing flowers for a friend's wedding. Having previously dabbled in floristry myself, I said I would help. We got so much great feedback that we thought, why not?! Our families were really supportive during our first couple of years. They would help us with our sunrise flower market runs and on-site at events to make sure we had enough hands. My mother is often behind the scenes helping, so I said let’s call the businesses ‘Rosaline’, which is a combination of Rosalind and Rosie. What makes us different? We are events only florists. We customise exactly what couples envision for their big day. Unlike other set packages and bulk production, we help couples in style consultations to develop an idea of exactly what they would like, then as a team, we go out and bring it to life! We buy premium Australian locally grown flowers not imports. They are more expensive but have not been shipped halfway around the world so it’s more sustainable. Quality is our core value. We love creating beautiful floral features and we quote accurately for this. I’ve heard too many stories through friends of brides being disappointed because something related to their big day wasn’t what they wanted after they went for the cheapest quote possible. I think setting a budget and having realistic expectations is an important step early on in planning for couples. Who are we? Our team consists of Mornington Peninsula florists and lots of casual staff, which include many women in their 50s who need some extra part-time work.
