24.01.2022 We will be at Carol Hills workshop on 22nd March. Anyone who would like to drop in to get smalti , can come to the Community shed in Aldinga, between 2pm and 4pm. There will be a large variety of Smalti and pigments, available Cheers Beate

22.01.2022 Julie Beth, one of my lovely customers created this stunning portrait. Have a look below to what she had to say about this mosaic: "What inspires me most really is a challenge, a new idea or the excitement of just trying something I’ve not done before.. I have a Passion for beauty and colour and I now have the time in retirement. This is a portrait of my inherited daughter. I’d not used Italian Smalti before but like most things I do ‘I just have a go’. It was a surprise gift and I’m pleased to say she seemed very happy with it. I gave my inherited son a portrait of himself in glass a few months ago also."

22.01.2022 2 more days where 10% of all orders will go to the bushfire emergency relief!

22.01.2022 Always so nice to see people's faces light up when they see the Smalti lolly shop. Worth all the hard work. Thank you all for a great day and workshop, conducted by my friend and artist Carol Hill in SA.

21.01.2022 Just unpacked a new pigment colour, called Fuchsia. Only a limited edition.

21.01.2022 Mosaic Bazaar Newsletter May 2020 - https://mailchi.mp/644e23/mosaic-bazaar-newsletter-may-2020

20.01.2022 Hello All Dear Mosaic Friends! I had planned to do a newsletter this weekend, but did not get a chance, so decided to put it into a comment here. We were fortunate enough to receive 2 shipments from Italy a few weeks ago, one from Orsoni and one from the Eco Smalti in Spilimbergo. Meaning our inventory has been restocked with most colours. There are a few more Pezzami and also something new called Blocchi! Blocchi are Smalti rocks, which are a byproduct from the smalti and ar...e quite fragile, although shipped well from Italy. A lot of them sold already yesterday, but there are still some left, so have a look, even if just to admire them, as they are quite stunning. We only got a small amount of them in, because we were not sure how they would ship, but will get more next time. At the moment we are still fully operational! We are all going through a very hard and rough time at the moment, but I truly believe we will come out of this again. So keep mosaicking and keep showing us all these very nice photos of your mosaic creations. Take Care Cheers Beate See more
