Salary:Dependant on skill set We are currently looking for a new team member of any age, gender ranging from a 2nd year apprentice to a seasoned technician. There is a catch.. You MUST be passionate, driven, trustworthy and reliable. You will be surrounded by a fun, upbeat and exciting team, with all tools provided and plenty of knowledge to be shared. Our ideal candidate will be professional, confident in speaking to customers, possess a positive can do attitude and willing to be part of a growing team. Majority of the work will be service work and general repairs, with occasional diagnostic work. Knowledge in these areas will be preferred. However upskilling and training for the right candidate will be provided. Our expectation of you will be to keep a tidy work space and work shop, you will be able to follow direction, but also willing to speak up and use initiative if you feel there is a better way for tasks to be completed. 10.01.2022 Hi Team , Just a few handy DIY tips to ensure that we can keep your car working optimally. 1. Check tire pressure frequently . 2. Check tire tread 3. Check you oil level ... 4. Check coolant level 5. Use higher octane fuel (98 the expensive one) 6. Light check , head lights and get a friend to check your brake lights (if you have no friends pop in and and we will be happy to help ) 7. Check your dash for warning lights . These little checks are important to be done fortnightly, or on newer vehicles at least monthly . Doing such checks will not only ensure the car is operating how it's supposed to but also a good way to spot any issues that may arise in the future. Since then the business has evolved and we have really connected with our customers,business partners, fellow colleagues and the local community. Which makes sharing this news, all the bitter sweet.... Mascot Auto Repairs has been SOLD. The business will continue under new management from the 25th June. 01.01.2022 Diagnostic Time at Mascot Auto Repairs This poor Ford Falcon was booked in to be diagnosed and for a repair, as the pesky old engine light was on. After some great feedback from the customer and running through our customer check list we were able to get a head start on what to test.... Here we see our senior tech Kosta doing what he s to do .
