20.01.2022 COVID- 19 UPDATE: Due to the current issues around hosting large scale events, the Executive team at SMGS is cautiously reviewing SMIEC 2020. We are meeting this afternoon to discuss. We are committed to making a responsible decision. NSW Health is developing some guidelines around safe practices and we will adhere to all recommendations. ... With this in mind we are pushing back entries to open March 21, 2020. This will save refunding entries for worst case scenario.

17.01.2022 We are only one month away from entries opening for the 2020 Snowy Mountains Interschools Equestrian Competition. SMIEC 2020 will be running all your favourite events with some new features to the Show Jumping schedule. April 30- May 3 2020 ... The SMIEC 2020 Program will be uploaded today!

12.01.2022 SMIEC 2020 After discussing at length yesterday with SMGS Executive, the SMIEC committee, and in consultation with Perisher, we have made the responsible decision to postpone SMIEC 2020 until Term 4. With the announcement from the Australian Government yesterday in regards to public gatherings over 500 we believe this is the responsible decision to make. ... Snowy Mountains Grammar school and Perisher are committed to finding a date in Term 4 to hold this important event. We appreciate this is a very disappointing decision for all, and we thank you for understanding. We will post the new dates as soon as possible.

09.01.2022 UPDATE: Due to some technical discrepancies with our 2020 SMIEC program and Global we have pushed the entries opening date back for a week. Unfortunately, we have also had staff absent over the week and we need a few more hours to ensure the platform is ready to accept all our competitors. ... Thank you for your patience. If the problems are resolved quickly, we are looking towards next Monday March 16 as our date for entries to open. We apologise for the change in date, but some of the issues were outside of our control. We look forward to welcoming you all at SMIEC 2020. We have some exciting new merchandise too!

04.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone! The dates for the 2020 Snowy Mountains Interschools Equestrian Competition are Saturday Thursday 30th April - Sunday 3rd May. Further information will be made available on the SMIEC website and this Facebook Page closer to the event. We are looking forward to another fantastic event in 2020.
