24.01.2022 Easter competition starts today. Keep an eye on your inbox for for a special e-mail from us! If you havent received one, let us know! In the meantime, we'll just leave this here: After dinner, my wife asked if I could clear the table. I needed a running start, but I made it!

23.01.2022 The name teddy bear comes from former United States President Theodore Roosevelt, after an incident during one of his bear hunting trips in Mississippi inspired a political cartoon by Clifford Berryman which appeared in the Washington Post on November 16, 1902. Morris Michtom, having seen the illustration, created a toy bear cub and wrote to Theodore Roosevelt seeking permission to use his name for the toy. Permission was given and Teddys Bear became an immediate success.

22.01.2022 "Testing your smoke alarms - that's what really matters to me." Thanks The City of Cornwall for the #9GAGFunOff video

22.01.2022 Meet Mokey. He may be small in stature (20cms, if anyones asking), but Mokey is the silent hero no property manager knew existed...until now. Genius overseer of the team youve come to know and love, Mokey is the real brains behind the operation - promptly answering calls, responding to emails and efficiently booking inspections - all while demanding frequent group hugs as part of his team building vision. #bearyhelpful

07.01.2022 Good Morning Cairns!

07.01.2022 So what is the 2022 Queensland Govt #SmokeAlarms Legislation all about and how can we help? Everything changes for Queensland landlords in 2022, and in many cases they are not going to be happy. By 1st January 2022, the smoke alarms in every Queensland rental property must be: -Installed in every bedroom of the property -Must be 240v or 10 year lithium alarms 9v alarms will not be allowed... -Must be photoelectric alarms ionisation alarms (the most common form of alarm) will not be allowed -Must be interconnected so that if one alarms sounds, they all do -For most landlords, this will mean that every current smoke alarm must be replaced, and new ones installed, as very few homes have alarms inside bedrooms. Depending on the number of bedrooms in their property this could cost them between $500 $2,000. BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS! They dont have to do anything until 2021 if they dont wish to (as long as their property meets existing requirements). Most smoke alarm companies are charging around $229.00 per alarm for interconnected alarms. Our price is more than 20% cheaper than those companies saving your landlords a significant amount of money. Exclusively to SAI, we provide a smoke alarm layby plan where they can spread the cost over the next 5 years and we will install their new smoke alarms before the end of 2021. Some smoke alarm companies are putting pressure on landlords and property managers to upgrade properties now. With a smoke alarm having a service life of 10 years, if they upgrade now their smoke alarms will already be half way through their lifespan before the new regulations commence, and they will need to replace them again just 5 years later. You do not need to upgrade now, you can wait until the end of 2021. You can view our pricing plans right here: https://smokealarmintegrity.com.au/pricing/
