25.01.2022 || DO YOUR ACCESSORIES || A lot of the time we can get caught up in our big lifts. However, it's also super important to understand we sometimes need to work on our weaker muscles to enhance those bigger lifts. If we compensate too much on one area, we start to increase the risk of injury and dysfunction.... Here is one of my favourite's to get those lower traps firing! Oh and shoulders #the1percenters . . .



24.01.2022 WHO KEEPS YOU ACCOUNTABLE? Even coaches need to be accountable of goals! Depending on what works for you, sometimes writing a goal/outcome might not be enough drive. ... What I like to do personally is actually telling people about my main goals. For me, that is the scariest part because it's so real and now someone knows. Their role isn't necessarily to keep you spot on your goals, just someone to help keep you on track if you're struggling or starting to fall off the motivation bandwagon. This weekend is to make sure I have some level of swimming skill to take part in the Great Australia Day swim! Thanks to Shaun and Jess, I am pretty sure this will be enjoyable! 24.01.2022 || WORK HARD, PLAY HARD || Happy Sunday all! This weekend as some of you know that in my time PTing, attending to members, coaching, training this was something I have been longing to do since my surgery.... I thank all of my clients allowing me to be understanding when I needed some time to prepare myself :) Now that I have a few weeks to recover and prepare for the next one, we have an upcoming workshop to see how I manage a lot of my mental approach towards training, skillwork, a challenging workout and mobility. 22.01.2022 || GRAND FINAL WEEKEND! || My oh my has time flown! Just an a massive appreciation and shout out to everyone who has been awesome this year and putting in the hard yards! We're coming close to October, then soom enough into 2019! Take the time to close your eyes and think how much you have learned and conquered! Rockclimbing and slack lining with my sister :)... Not only do you reduce cortisol levels with being stuck in that constant routine, but you have a new slate and more settled mind to work with when needed What's your go to zen time?

16.01.2022 BE SO INVESTED IN LEARNING AND LISTENING I've been real quiet on my PT page. As I've spent the last 6 weeks in the Far North, my focus is seeking to understand and learn about the members, programming for online PTs, working on ProjectPhilz and training. The biggest thing that I wanted to be sure of is that I was learning more about regression and have an understanding of the person.... I've learnt so much about each and every one of them which makes me more dedicated and passionate to learn. I've had a few questions that have been brought up, next will be in relation to eating. What other components would you like to know/discuss?

12.01.2022 || WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO? || Hoping the weekend has been ace! I just wanted to do a bit of an update with where I'm at these days. As most of you have seen, I'm putting the accelerator on training as I promised myself I wasn't missing out im competing!... Of course business, clients, family, UFT, recovery, friends are always in my frame of mind. It is a bit hard to give you a full run down of my day/week, because well, more importantly I like to ask about your day and to make sure you get a hard session at the end of the day First and foremost, looking after myself has been a priority in order to achieve everything else I want to achieve down the line. Lately I've needed to manage anxiety and sleepless nights, not because I'm fearful of what is ahead but the fact that so much is happening in one go! Scary and exciting!! Who else has that feeling? It's unshakeable but you need to feel it and push past it because there have been some truly amazing and lucky opportunities coming for 2018 and 2019! So what is happening? I'm currently working on a video based on my journey Planning my upcoming "WARRIOR WORKSHOP" September 29th (Keep an eye out) Getting closer integrating my dream in the Philippines with a few meetings 4 CrossFit Comps Gymnastics Workshop Plus more to add! I just want to acknowledge everyone and thank them for doing and being you. Whether you're a work mate, client, someone I follow - at some point you inspire me with your actions and support! 10.01.2022 REFLECT AND REVIEW! There are always the positives and negatives of any year. Sometimes personal, physical, mental and emotional. However it's really important to reflect on the things you have ACHIEVED, and things you have LEARNT!... Key word. Learn. There are always mistakes that happen or things that didn't go accordingly. That's the unique part. We're designed to learn and adapt. For me: I was able to compete in 5 comps 2 Individual Comps Read 12 books Had 1 day off of no training Started baking Moved out of home Got more confident within myself Ran my first 2 workshops 10 Bar MU unbroken PB'd Dianne Showed up even though I struggled through anxiety some sessions Started to talk in videos more comfortably (probably more in future) No pain in my knee post op Travelled every year Took the next step in #ProjectPhilz Loving meeting new people Didn't end up in any operations That's probably some to date but I could not have imagined a better year! 2019 you have so much to offer!! What's have you conquered this year?

To educate - Absolutely! To guide them to their goals - 100%. But that's just only the surface. I am where I am because I constantly admire, and LOVE seeing people dedicated,feeling capable being a better you; improving themselves despite all odds. ... You think you may be just a Mum with 2 kids or even a Nurse, a labourer, whatever it may be but you push aside the odds to improve yourself in other ways. That's an achievement Coaching is one of the most rewarding things to date and to all those who I see walk in, walk out smiling because you put in a wicked effort!
